These are such a good deal for great quality. I have yet to see any better priced then this and easier to use. I purchased them for 5 gallon buckets I keep wheat berries in and they are easy to put on, and I love that they close really thight but are easy to open. I can stand or sit on them with out issue. They fit perfectly on the bucket and have now purchased another set

These are great durable lids tha5 snap on the 5 gallon buckets easily. They do take some work getting off. They fit on multiple brands of buckets also. Makes getting to the feed I store in them easy to get too.

These worked great. Good seal. The only thing I can say is they’re hard to put on the bucket, but that’s OK because it means they’re really snug. The screw shut tight no leaking. Would recommend.

These are overall very nice lids. If you're looking for a nearly airtight and certainly water tight seal, they will work. I was looking for truly airtight bucket lids to use for brewing beer. You have to crank these down very very tight to actually get them airtight. I was unable to do this by hand, so I made a wooden tool to get more leverage. Of the 3 lids I got, 2 had good o rings and go airtight with my wooden tool. One had an imperfection in the o ring. I bought a set of aftermarket o rings to improve the seal, problem solved. I have bought these multiple times. They are the best on the market even if they aren't perfect. I wish they required less torque to get air tight, but I worked around it. To be fair, my buckets might not have perfectly flat tops anyway, so its hard to say what is at fault here. If you are wondering how I tell if they are air tight, I drilled holes in them for a rubber stopper and airlock. It doesnt bubble through the airlock if the lid isn't air tight. When the beer is visibly fermenting but the airlock isn't bubbling you know you aren't airtight. Keep cranking until you see bubbles continuously moving through in the airlock.

For what I am using these for (5 gallon buckets) these work great. They are a pain in the butt to get on, but once on (I did use a mallet) the screw top works well and does come with a seal. Haven't tried to see if they're leak proof, but I was using one of the buckets for Naphtha and when it was closed the smell of the liquid didn't come through. I like that the lids are different colors as well, that way I don't have to open them to know what's inside.

These fit the buckets nicely. You do need to use a bit of effort putting the attachment onto the bucket. Then, the top just screws on. Very easy to use. The quality of the material is good too. It’s a hard plastic like the buckets. I haven’t tried to submerge it or anything but it seems airtight. I think it’s pretty versatile. I have dog food in one and I can’t smell it.
