The pictures say it all. So much fun. The pictures is from November. We got the family outside even through autumn and winter. Toasted marshmallows with outdoor cinema. Fire pit kept us all lovely and warm. Safe for the kids to toast their marshmallows with adult supervision. Like the ledge to pop your coffee on. Easy to assemble as myself and my 81 yr old dad got stuck in. Highly recommend. And yes it will rust if left out but comes with a cover. We will just repaint when it needs it.

Fabulous burner, use it for cooking tea when good weather, highly recommend looks good comes with cover , and at a really competitive price win win.

This is a great fire pit. I'd fancied one for a while we did have an old gas patio heater, until it decided to die. We didn't want to buy another as they're not especially environmentally friendly and it was a chore to store away for winter and then reassemble, so we agreed on this pit. It's very sturdy and I wanted one with the surround to put plates on, when using as a bbq. There were several available on the market in the style but some came with a weather proof cover and others came with a grill to cook on. We chose this one with the cover thinking it would be easier to find a separate grill than a cover to fit. The sale even suggested a grill that 'many bought with it'; unfortunately, it doesn't add that many probably return the grill because it doesn't fit. We still haven't found a square grill to fit but we have bought some rectangular ones to overlap each other for now. Hence the one star knocked off. Otherwise we're very happy with the quality and the appearance.

Easy to put up and it does the job bargain for the price

It is easy to assemble and looks hood but the grill supplied can't be used as it is so small it would have no support and would sit directly on the coals. The protective cover tore after a few days and the seems began splitting so that's no good either

The media could not be loaded. It arrives in many pieces that have to be assembled from scratch. However, I managed to do it in about an hour and I’m not great at these things. Every screw is the same which helps.I was a little bit worried that the surrounding metal would get too hot with a blazing fire but not so! Mainly worried about children being around. You can easily have drinks on the outer edges without fear of them becoming hot from the metal beneath.The fire guard is hugely protective and the hook/poker works great. It can even be left on the edging of the fire pit without any heat transferred to it.I have this set up under an open sided gazebo and it seems safe, mainly because it’s lower than a bbq would be, as well as the sturdy fire guard.Setting up was a slight struggle near the end when the legs didn’t seem to match the holes. But keeping all the screws slightly looser (as it says in the manual!) solved the issue. From then it is light and easy to move to where you want it, especially because the fire pit itself simply lifts out. Great for emptying straight into a wheelie bin, when the embers are entirely cooled. I’d give it 24 hours minimum. Or put the cold embers on the lawn as a nutrient. Just an idea.It’s very stable on my patio.I’m so glad I found this, especially with Halloween and Guy Fawkes coming up. Can’t wait for doing marshmallows over a blazing fire and watching neighbours fireworks shows for free.Happy Autumn everyone.

Good quality but it's rusted... have used ours quite a few times... weather permitting... given 4 stars as the cover supplied with it is very poor/thin plastic so it hasn't protected the fire pit and there is now rust on the edges...
