This chest is beautiful certainly worth the price I payed. I was tired of having to work so hard getting the tarnish off my silver every time I wanted to use it. I have so many different silver items my mom's, both my grandparents and odds and ends. This chest fits it all. I like the fact that there is a full drawer with no dividers that you can put unmatched silver. Very nice chest and I'm hoping, next time I want to use my silver, it won't be so heavily tarnished.

This silverware box is garbage. Made from low quality everything. They sent the item and the wood was warped and the paper felt was peeling up so I sent it back for a refund. They sent a replacement instead and it showed up cracked completely. Do not buy!!!

This is a functional item but no heirloom. It will work great if you are just needing a good way to stash a silver flatware set. We put a service for twelve in ours, it was a tight fit but it fit. That having been said the quality is commecerate with the price.

Years ago my mother bought a very ornate, high quality 12 place setting flatware set of her dreams (including serving pieces). Neither my brother nor I loved it like she did but fast forward a few years and my soon-to-be daughter-in-law picked the exact same pattern for her wedding registry. So they got the perfect wedding present "from grandma", but there was no storage box, and with lots of other expenses for the wedding it wasn't a priority at the time. Now it's 5 years later and my son and DIL's anniversary was coming up and I realized the traditional 5-year gift is wood, and the contemporary is flatware --- a wooden flatware storage box was the obvious choice of present. Given the ornate and "chunky" nature of the flatware pattern a one-level storage box seemed like it would be tight or maybe not even hold all the pieces -- I have a very streamlined pattern and a one-level box holds everything perfectly. They absolutely love the box and this will allow them to pull their flatware down from a cardboard box on the top shelf of the pantry and actually use it. Helps keep my reputation as best mother-in-law ever!

Sehr gut und sieht edel aus. Kann man weiter empfehlen.

Dacht dat er meer ruimte zou zijn voor een volledig bestek. Ook profielen van de bovenste klep heel fragiel. Mooi uitzicht maar niet handig. Jammer.

La scatola è molto bella, elegante e ben rifinita. Purtroppo è stata spedita in uno scatolone di cartone sottile, della stessa dimensione della scatola, protetta unicamente da fogli di plastica a piccole bolle, non sufficienti a ripararla dagli urti. E' infatti arrivata con gli angoli stondati e scorticati, e con un brutto graffio laterale che ha portato via la vernice. Sarebbe arrivata perfetta se solo fosse stata spedita con uno scatolone più grande, e ben assicurata da un interno in polistirolo sagomato! L'imballaggio grossolano ha rovinato un bell'oggetto
