Very good from Turtle Beach.
Bought this to cash in on the hype... was not disappointed. Many many positives with some minor drawbacks. Open-back wireless headset rocks. Sound is incredible, a huge upgrade from my Astro A10 headset... options to use it in wired, Bluetooth or dongle mode, dongle mode works with PS5 which is very convenient. Microphone quality is pretty average for a headset. Ability to fold it up or even detach it completely is very handy. Contents of the box are great too, braided charging cable I use constantly. Comes with a headphone cable with volume control that even has a Velcro cable tie attached to it for easy storage... volume wheel is easily accessible, and controls very smoothly. Downsides are small, but important to note... headset is quite wide on the head. I find when I'm walking places, it catches on doorframes pretty easily, but I could just be clumsy. Headset is also quite slippery... clamping force is comfortable, but the materials allow it to slip around on the head, especially for someone like me with long hair. My biggest issue is probably that using it via Bluetooth on mobile for music means you need the Swarm II app to access full volume range. Reconnecting the headset to PS5 whenever I switch it on automatically sets volume to max. Another issue is that volume adjustment via the wheel on the headset makes the volume adjust in very large increments with little fine tuning... combining these issues means you can quickly turn down the volume when the headset connects, but it's a little frustrating to do. Less of an issue and more of a gripe is that there is very little third party upgrades around for this headset. Turtle Beach themselves sell coloured cushions and headbands, but there's no alternative material choices as of last I checked.

Almost the perfect headset
I really wanted to like these as it's almost impossible to even find open back wireless headsets. They come very well presented in a nice box and even includes a cloth carry bag, something that headsets twice the price don't even include. The sound quality for me was really good as I much prefer the more airy open soundstage, and still had decent bass with EQ. Mic quality isn't as good as the likes of Razer's Black shark V2 or Astro A50 gen 5, but is decent enough for general use. Build quality isn't the greatest being plastic but didn't really raise any major concerns. However, they are extremely lightweight and comfy with the mesh headband and breathable cloth cushions. However there are some flaws that sadly stopped me from keeping these. Although they are very comfortable when you first put them on. The ear cushions are not deep enough for big ears and after a while became painful due to touching the inner driver wall. I looked everywhere for aftermarket Earpads replacements which would have saved these, but nobody seems to make any as of yet. Another issue is they have no swivel on the cups, meaning you can't really wear them down around your neck when not listening to anything because they just stick out into your face. The last issue I came across was with the software. If you use any custom or preset EQ in the software then you get this very annoying low scratchy wind sound when listening at low volume. When turned up it doesn't seem to be an issue, but it's very noticeable when listening at reduced volume at night. This isn't a huge deal breaker if using on PC as there are many other EQ software you can use to tweak the sound. Overall very nearly a perfect headset with just a few drawbacks. If any 3rd party comes out with aftermarket ear cushions for these in the future then I may rebuy them again. Or hopefully this pushes more brands to release some wireless open back headsets as TB has proved its possible.

connection and audio issues
was really looking forward to using these as many good reviews on Youtube stating how good they are. I agree they worked well when the we were connected BUT staying connected was an issue. When using the dongle and wireless option. it would randomly drop out. There's a setting on the (swarm 2 software) where you can have it auto turn off when not in use. I was in the middle of a game both listening and talking (even though I had this set to 30 mins) it turned itself off and I spent about an hour trying to get it to connect up again. when I did manage to get it to connect the audio was all messed up and was told by friends it sounded like I was whispering as they could hardly hear me. I was having these issues with first 10 days of getting them. Item was returned

Audio quality and mic poor. Build quality and comfort great.
I can only assume the people praising this headset have never experienced good audio because this is not a good headset for audio quality. For my reference point I've been rocking a Sennheiser Game One - Open back wired headset for a number of years which was a similar price point all be it not wireless. * Poor audio quality * I noticed straight away a kind of tinny hint to the audio, it didn't sound natural. This could be because of the wireless transmission. It lacked the mid tone and warm detail for me so I enabled bass boost. This improved things but the sacrifice here was that some small sound details were artificially boosted and also reverberating oddly, this started to hurt my ear drums. The default sound stage didn't do the reverberating but it's so flat and neutral and peoples voices lacked any deep tones entirely. It had a hint of FM radio quality to it too. It may be possible to tweak the EQ to get a better sound, but the second issue made me decide to return the headset. * Microphone quality * One of the worst microphones I've heard in a long time. It sounds like a phone call, not even close to studio quality. I strongly suggest watching a YouTube video of mic tests where you will hear that cheap almost crackling hiss to the reviewers voice. Changing the EQ will improve it but not cure it. People often comment that I sound like a streamer with my Sennheiser Game One mic so this had a high standard to beat, which may be a little unfair. * Positives * On the positives, the build quality feels quite decent. I liked that everything needed was in the box cable wise and the bag was a nice touch. The headset band felt really comfortable on the head and I didn't feel any fatigue with this headset on my ears. * Conclusion * I used this on a PC due to it being the first open back wireless to hit the market. This may be better than a lot of console headsets out there, but personally I can't recommend this headset to anyone looking for serious audio and I'd suggest getting a cheaper wireless headset for console use because this doesn't break that budget sound barrier.

Finally
Been searching for an open back wireless headset for a long time. Can finally game with friends without my ears melting. It is a little plasticky but doesn't feel cheaply made and it's lightweight and comfortable. I'm no audiophile so can't really comment on the audio, sounds fine.

Sound and comfort top tier, mic is too soft
I will start this review by saying that I returned the item, due to the microphone being too soft for my needs. It's disappointing, because aside from that I loved everything about it. By far the most comfortable headset I've ever tried and the open back sound quality is insane. In games and music, it just sounded incredible to me. I even tried two units, to see if one had a faulty mic, but unfortunately it is just a very very quiet microphone in my experience. Sadly.

Good headphones
So far can't fault these headphones feels a good build sounds pretty good (compared to some reference teknica) and adjustable via pc software or mobile software nice bag. Did not realise as well as the mic flipping up it can also be removed after looking at a pair my son had before purchase which sealed the deal People comment how good I sound on calls

Słuchawki nie dla każdego
Kupiłem, przetestowałem i odesłałem. Dlaczego?

Unnecessarily complex connection that tries too hard to be clever but falls flat on its face.
This headset uses wireless and Bluetooth to connect with the pc and for the last few weeks I have been struggling with trying to make it work. The manual tells you to look at the dongle's led lights to help diagnose any issues. Great choice unless you install it on the rear USB ports. The audio status messages are only half as helpful as you might think because there are 3 buttons and it's difficult to know what you are pressing unless you like to take off the headset every now and then to see what you are doing. The headset disconnects or enters some kind of sleep mode when there's no audio playback for a while and it doesn't tell you until you play a video and you hear nothing then you have to fumble with the buttons to get it to work again. Just tonight it was on Bluetooth mode when it suddenly switched to wireless mode for no reason. Buy this if you love troubleshooting every day and at surprise intervals and playing a game called "Guess the connection used" everytime.

Great idea, poor quality
These are a unique piece: wireless open-back gaming headset, IMO the best combo. It's extremely breathable and comfy to wear but it doesn't "hold" to my head enough. Open nature of the drivers is awesome for both gaming and music, sound quality is not bad (it's a cheap wireless transmitter optimised for low lag not quality after all but it doesn't suck too much), mic is fine as long as you disable those pointless noise canceling features. BUT! The build quality is just horrible. It looks and feels like something that has been bought for $30 on Aliexpress. It even smells like a pair of knockoff sneakers from Primark! And the mic boom is wobble and squeaky straight out of the box. If TB releases a premium version with all the same features but built properly I'm buying ASAP but this one goes back to seller. UPD. Seen one in a store. That one had way better quality so maybe I just got a faulty unit.
