Great unit. Will allow me to save lots of food and drinks “before” it’s too late, should an appliance failure happen. This thermometer is pretty awesome. Can’t speak to the durability just yet as I’ve only had if for three weeks.We have a fridge and a freezer side by side in our garage. The fridge iced up and needs to be defrosted about twice a year, and the freezer is now about 20 years old but going strong. I’ve set high and low alarms and adjusted them over time as I learn more about these appliances range.So far fridge alarm has sounded when the door is open to stock drinks. In just a couple of minutes the temperature (towards the front of the compartment) can rise 7 degrees.We have a full freezer and a full fridge and I’d rather know about a potential failure during, not days later. This is great insurance.While not necessary, a like that the unit has two remotes, and room ambient temperature.Magnetic mounting let me stick it to the fridge where I can glance at temps while walking through the garage.

Set up is easy enough when you get used to where the function buttons are and what they do. Be patient, after setting it up wait a couple hours for the information to record and average out. Re-adjust your high and low alarms at that time also (if needed). Magnets hold to the door very well. It could use a lighted display though. Use lithium batteries for longer life and avoid cold damage. Very good for monitoring my refrig/freezer temps. I would recommend this product.

I've got one sensor in a freezer in my attached garage, and one in another freezer in my detached shop--about 75' away. Both work fine. I needed to set the display on a window sill in light of sight with the shop, but that is fine--I am impressed it can detect the sensor from that far away. Great product--I am very happy with it.

We use it for camping mainly. We can see the temperature inside the camper, outside and in our little fridge.We’ve also used it to check to make sure the refrigerators we have at home are at the correct temperature.

I placed each sensor into separate freezers, the freezers are in the basement and next to each other. The receiving unit is on the floor directly above the freezers, a distance of less than 15 feet. Sensor 1 says the temperature is -4, sensor 2 says the temperature is 71. I replaced the batteries with lithium batteries and it still does not work. Either the sensor is bad or the receiving unit does not work. Either way I wish I would have bought a cheaper one.

Works as promised. No issues with connectivity. I have mine in the garage fridge about 50 to 60 feet away. Is accurate compared to my other thermostats. Don't even bother with the included batteries.. Very poor quality. Otherwise couldn't be happier.

Now I have the security of knowing what is going on in the freezer pole barn as I sit in my living room. I am amazed that it reads across the driveway and into another building! No more lost food when the freezer fails.

lost one sensor in one month. amazon says look on manufacture website for warranty but there is not a website that I can find!
