Gets really HOT (see update)
It gets really really hot! Gave this to my daughter to take with her on her trip to Europe. She said it keeps getting so hot the phone always gives her heat warnings and it stops charging until the phone cools down. This is Europe during the spring when it's not very hot and mostly rains so it's not due to temp. I'm worried over time it will ruin the phone itself because of the heat. She has said sometimes it's hard to hold because it feels really hot to touch. Do I have a defective one?It also won't charge her watch unless it is also charging her phone. So to charge her watch she has to put the battery onto her magsafe phone, then plug in the cord. Otherwise it won't charge with just the cord alone. Of course her tour is almost over and the return window closed the day before she told me her battery troubles. I never used it before her trip otherwise I would have returned it and chosen a different brand she could use without a voltage converter that doesn't get hot. It only charges her phone once and over a long period since she has to keep taking it off to cool the phone down before putting it back on. Two stars just because it does charge, but I wouldn't recommend it unless they can fix the heat issue and the inability to charge something via cord.UPDATE: Excellent customer service! I was contacted by customer service and not only did they do their best to solve my problem they also asked me follow up questions to help them make sure that their product was compatible, find out if it was defective and figure out if the problem is their end or mine. They were very informative. They taught me why it may get hot and at what temperature an iPhone turns on heat protection mode. They did say that although the temperature is considered normal when warm and can get hot if using the phone while charging the inability to charge via cord unless it is also charging on the MagSafe is not normal. They gave me a refund at the very beginning of our conversation and also allowed me to try them again by sending me a new unit. I am happy to report this unit does charge via the cord on its own which was their main concern. I do like this battery pack and was happy to give them another chance. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do. I will be purchasing from again in the future.

thin, minimalistic, and sleek power bank for quick charge
Design: My main goal was to find a minimalist MagSafe power bank, and the TORRAS MiniMag exceeded my expectations. I genuinely love how portable and lightweight it is. The design feels incredibly sleek, and it's thin enough to keep in my pocket, even when attached to my phone. The Desert Gold is a perfect match for my iPhone 16 Pro Max - so the colorway options are a plus.Charging: Key point - a fully charged 5,000mAh MiniMag won't completely recharge an iPhone 16 Pro Max from 0%, especially if you're using the phone heavily while it charges. I was aware of this trade-off when purchasing, as my priority was a slim, portable design for on-the-go top-ups, not a full-capacity charge. For that purpose, it performs exactly as needed. In terms of heat, the power bank gets slightly warm during use, particularly with intensive applications, but it has not been a concern.Overall: this is a well-designed power bank for anyone who prioritizes style, portability, and convenience for quick charges throughout the day. Highly recommended.

Definitely buy before your phone drains down
I purchased the power bank due to my travels for my volunteering for a veterans organization, Disabled American Veterans (DAV). My travels take me across the state to be with our chapters and conferences which we hold annually and monthly. This power bank has been used while traveling in my vehicle due to my wife using the usb for the vehicle so my solution was to purchase something that is reliable and yet can fit in my pocket either attached to my phone while charging or ready to be used when my phone was down to around 10%. It’s thin and is just a few credit cards thick yet provides the charge for my phone when needed. I can honestly say that this power bank by TORRAS is a definite buy and I plan to tell everyone they need to get it, heck I will probably buy one for my kids even though they are grown but can enjoy a Christmas present from dad.

Good product but without CCC certification for use in China
Product was thin and looks great. It serves the purpose. Unfortunately, Chineses government just announced a CCC certification, in order to be taken and used on flights. This product does not have this certification.

Great Portable Power Charger
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The TORRAS power bank is very slim, lightweight, and easy to carry. It recharges my phone pretty fast while on the go, and it charges up in a short period of time. The lights on the top are very convenient to keep track of how much power it has, and the side button allows me to shut it down when I’ve gotten enough juice on my phone. I highly recommend the TORRAS MiniMag Power Bank.

My go to magnetic power bank for iPhone 15 Pro!
I love these so much I bought two; one of my purse and one for my travel backpack. I travel for work (at least 65%) and often find myself running out of battery life on long days in the OR when I don't have easy access to charging. These are small and light enough that I can keep one in my pocket, and even better, I can keep it attached to my phone and keep them in my pocket together! I can talk on or use the phone while it's charging without it feels excessively bulky unlike similar power banks. It holds just enough juice to charge my phone up once from dead, which is all I need. The charging is fast, though sometimes it does get a little hot. These are SUPER easy to travel with or store in a backpack or hand bag and the magnetic connection is sturdy and never falls off. I love these and highly recommend them! I've had many people ask for the link when they see me using it.In the pictures you can see the size difference compared with my credit card and another similar power bank by Anker.

Not what I expected
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased 2 of these and they are not very powerful which it might be my fault for not knowing what I needed, but one of them only charges when it’s plugged into the phone not when it is connected by magnet. I didn’t try them out until I was on my trip which is also my fault but didn’t think I could return them at that point.
