Fits chevy Malibu 2015 perfectly. That being said, no programing was necessary. Used the old premachined working key without an issue. However make sure you watch a video on how to do it. I wound the key backwards and now it sucks it in instead of flicking it out. This isn't a real issue for us, but it may for you. There is a picture of the old key that had to ripped apart to get the chip. BEWARE YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO RIP APART YOUR OLD KEY! Again for us, not an issue as ours was failing and held together with duct tape and prayers. This worked out perfectly for us. Just needs a little time, patience, and a little finesse. The hardest part is definitely getting the key lined up and all the pieces together, it can get a little fiddlely. The screw lined up iffy, but it holds it together pretty well. The small Phillips head screw driver broke in half, so beware it is fragile, and you might want to have another one on stand by in case it busts. The wristlet that came with it is a piece of crap, the key and tools are nice, minus the fact that they are fragile. Buttons function perfectly. Definitely worth the money. All in all I would definitely buy again. This review will update if something changes.

Compatibility: Fit my old key stick and IC board nicely into the new case. Button Push feel: Not the greatest, but Okay with just $8 pricing. Attention: The original GMC Key Case is a little tough to open. Be careful not to damage the IC board. You should watch the video multiple times to avoid the area where you might damage the IC board when you try to pry open the old case. First I pry opened near the seat of the Key Stick (where the push-button is) and then slowly pry-opened towards the low part. During the process, I broke the upper portion of bottom case (where it has battery seat) and then used a Long Needle Nose Pliers to pull the other half part of the bottom case out.

This product was exactly what I needed to replace my key fob shell. After I took my old one apart, it was so easy to transfer everything over and reassemble the new key fob. I tested it and it works just like it should!

Bought for a replacement shell for a 2013 Chevy Cruze due to the unlock button being worn out. The fob quality and price are great. However, having assembled the key and board in the new shell the unlock button would not work; the alignment for that button was too far forward and would not depress the button on the board. Using thick super glue and trimming the button; I did manage to get it to function, but for how long I'm not sure.

This is a good keyfob shell to repair or replace one that is damaged or not functioning. This one doesn't come with the electronics, so you can pop in the old board from your fob. You can also replace the uncut key with the one from your old fob. It does the trick and I thought it was a good value.

This does not fit the 2018 Impala as described. I purchased this to swap my fob and the OEM key has a different pattern than the replacement uncut key. So i could not use my key in the new FOB. It was close but dows not quite work as intended.
