Help me get my car shifting correctly

This fit perfectly. For those wondering, yes this will work on the earlier 09A shift cable for the 5 speed automatic transmission. If your connector bushing is gone and you don't want to deal with the aftermarket available bushings, you can purchase this instead. Saved me a major headache.

My VW Jetta stranded my wife at the grocery store about a year ago, and the faulty shifter cable was to blame. OEM replacement parts were ~$80-100, which is ridiculous for an inch-long injection molded plastic part. This linkage matched the OEM linkage that I took out, and they looked about the same quality. Considering the OEM failed after ten years, I guess I’ll have to come back and write a review in a decade if this one holds up past that—but after a year and about 15k miles, it’s still going strong.

Easy to put on. A shop would’ve charged $100+. Takes 10 mins or less. So far so good.
