Cool!
This thing is awesome! I bought it on Black Friday last year on a wim and couldn't be happier! I snowboard and I while I haven't gone out to test my skills since using it, I do notice some of the same moves that I use when snowboarding. Not an intense workout if you already workout, but definitely something different.

I am a physical therapist and have used many different balance boards in my career. I would say this does a fairly good job of simulating the motion for carving a snow board or a skateboard. It seems safer than some of the roller type balance boards. That said I think it's more for the younger generation than someone older needing to work on balance. My other compliant is that even when using it with the supplied foot/stand and on a rubber mat it tends to walk causing the user to frequently get off and reposition it. This was even more pronounced on bare hardwood floors. one other issue I had was the grip tape on the deck peeling up after very little use. Bottom line it's ok for balance training for snowboarding like if your a beginner but most young people are just going to go out and learn the sport on the hill.

Fun to exercise on, but flimsily made
I had this board for 11 days and then the axle broke just behind the small wheel, almost sending me through my television. I'm 5'10", 175lbs EXACTLY, so I am not over (or even close to) the 200lb limit. I purchased mine from a store and boy were they hesitant to take it back, even though I had only had it the 11 days. While I enjoyed the board very much when I had it, they would have to do something to reinforce the arm before I would purchase another one. I'm retired so I used it more than most would per day (an hour or two off and on) but still, there is NO excuse for that arm to be so weak.

This board is sturdy quality and it's fun
This board is sturdy quality and it's fun!You would be surprised how often you find yourself jumping on it for a couple of minutes. Also amazing how quickly you get better in standing on it after a short period of time.Package is also well designed - this makes a great present!Would buy again!

Not what expected
This balance board is unique, defiantly not your typical balance board (especially if you've ever used the old fashioned ones with a cylinder in the middle). My wife picked it up easier then me, but I've gotten better at it over time.My issue with the board is it doesn't work on carpet very well, nor without shoes. Also, the only hard floor option I have is white and I strongly feel this would easily leave black marks on it.Not a great work out either.I would call this more of a "training" board, for serious snowboarders in their off season for breaks watching TV on a dark hard wood floor than a "do all balance board"

Great practice for board sports like snowboarding
well built and designed. Foam practice/beginner piece allows you to practice and get used to the feel. Great practice for board sports like snowboarding, kitesurfing, surfing. decent for skiing also if you place feet in opposite orientation.
