I am new to airbrushing but I have done plenty of automotive painting with similar (Bigger) tools.I watched a lot of helpfull You Tube video's too.While checking it over it was very stiff and the spring wouldn't return the needle but I did learn to polish the needle with metal polish to smooth out the movement.I also noticed that one of the parts wasn't quite fitted correctly. (But you will need to know how to assemble and disassemble to clean it properly)After cleaning everything and working the needle backwards and forwards a few times everything loosened up nicely.I cleaned it with some thinners then and loaded it up with paint.It sprays Ok now and for the price it's a good buy.I spent about half an hour getting it to work nice and I am pleased with it.Just need to practise my control now.There are a few video's out there that show you how to improve cheap airbrushes and they are worth a watch.One other note is that they are quite delicate so don't force things and have a little patience.All in all it doesn't require you to do anything you wont have to learn anyway so for the price it is a great buy.

This set represents good value for money. You get some useful accessories like the alternate nozzles and needles. However on its first use I found too little air was flowing and the paint exited at an angle. There were some O-ring debris where the needle guide sits that were strangling off the air exit.The nozzle was not de-burred on the front causing the paint stream to deflect. The air now flows well and after deburring with a 2mm drill bit the nozzle is fine. So far so good with painting now.Bottom line is good value but you might have to swap it if you get a bad one.

This is absolutely terrible and I'd urge you not to buy it. On opening the box, the airbrush literally fell apart in my hands with the air cap breaking off leaving thread in the gun. Having replaced the air cap, it then wouldn't spray paint (I traced this back to various leaky seals). When trying to clean it prior to returning, the second aircap then snapped off. I have never come across such a poor quality tool
