Sweeter Than Chocolate! Mindset: Learning and Living the Will of God -- An Inductive Study of Romans 8 Paperback – April 7, 2011

I am really enjoying this Bible study based on Romans 8! It focuses on Romans, but also includes references from many other books of the Bible. I like the flexibility - each chapter has the option of just studying the main Scripture verses, or including study of other companion verses. It also offers tools for memorization and using key words to help understand the meaning of the text. I have done many Precept Bible studies by Kay Arthur in the past. They were wonderful,, but required more time and study than I can commit to right now. This study Pam Gillaspie uses the same methods but offers more flexibility. It's a great option for those who can't commit to the other more intensive studies right now!

Workbook is a self guided study guide. I followed along with the online blog she did and it was a great study

Pro's...If you love inductive bible studying, especially pulling apart scripture and checking out the Greek and Hebrew, then you'll enjoy this study.Con's...It's super labor-intensive if you want to get the most out of it, though. Our group had to split the weeks into two weeks.We are only half-way through, and I don't feel that I know Romans 8 anymore than I did before we began.I've done a lot of work and learned some life-application. But I think the study is so busy that I'm kissing the forest for so many trees.

If you have ever considered trying an inductive study, any book in the Chocolate series is a great place to start.

Wonderful book and received it in a timely manner.

I found it difficult to follow. It had too many choices and I also has the leaders guide and just couldn't seem to put them together easily.
