MiconaHex+Triz Mousse, 7.1 oz

This is a go to for ring worm. Apply sparingly because your cat can get sick from licking this excessively. Ring worm treatment is what I used it for and the ring worm was going away in less than a week. I keep hearing in reviews do not use on cats, but it is safe, I've used on them. Like I said sparingly, like one pump only and massage it into the area with the ring worm one time every two days. It is has great effect on healing the areas that are raw also. I use it for any kind of skin irritation with dogs and cats. I don't use gloves, that's me. It kills the fungus so I usually rub a squirt on my hands and lower arm area.

Very convenient for spot treatments between full shampoo events. In our case, used on our rescue beagle's butt and adjoing tail area to reduce his licking until the area fully heals. I apply with surgical gloves (for obvious reasons, according to my wife).

My fur-babies have been battling some skin/toe infections. They like the mousse better than the sprays I've used... much gentler to get into the crevices of their paws and toes. Plus leaves the pads softer too! They enjoy their mini pedicure they get 2 times a day, especially Mom who isn't keen on her feet being touched or getting wet.

My dogs is a healer/border collie mix with terrible allergys. His chin was so scaly and oosed pus. This caused him to smell like a big rotten scab. He was also soo flaky causing tons of dander. It has been miserable for both of us. Giving him a bath twice a week, a very strict diet, plus oral meds was not cutting it. In 24h after using this only once, it was already very effective and I could see an improvement. I wish I took before and after pics. The smell is also much better so I've been able to cut baths down to once a week for now and ill probably continue to cut back as it improves. He is licking and itching much less too. I read bad reviews about dogs getting sick and that concerned me a bit. It's really not an issue as long and you keep them from licking while it drys. I keep an eye on him for like 30 after putting it on. It's kinda hard to apply through thick long fur but doable with some effort. I've tried so many products and this has helped the most by far! Definitely worth it.

It works and smells good but the residue is super greasy but I think that's part of its appeal. I was using some wet wipes and I think it made his fungus worse bc it wasn't drying properly - It's super expensive- -but if you've got a dog that's prone to allergies and fungus reactions -it's worth it. I do use the pet honesty shampoo and I like that brand as well. One thing I rec checking for on any of these is - is it safe if dog accidently licks and surprisingly some of them are not. While we use a cone and watch him - it's impossible sometimes bc they are dogs. This is safe and vet recommends- and obviously you don't want them licking it all off but I read some scary stuff on other brands .

This stuff cleared up a yeast infection between my dog's paws within a couple of days.

NEVER EVER USE THIS PRODUCT ON YOUR CAT, DOG OR HORSE. This product should be marked as illegal and should not be allowed to be sold. Shame on Dechra Pharmaceuticals for creating and selling such a product (poison). I followed the instructions on the bottle AND the directions from two different doctors (at two different vet practices). I applied the mousse to their fur and within an hour, my full-grown cat was wheezing, gagging, coughing, and dry heaving. She was out of it and not herself at all. By the middle of the night, my 4-month kitten struggled to breathe. He was wheezing and had a rattle in his chest. I rushed them both to the ER to find out they had both experienced a severe reaction to this antifungal. My kitten was experiencing Respiratory Distress. NOWHERE on the bottle does it say to keep your pet from licking the product, even when dry. AT THE VERY LEAST, THE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED THE IMPORTANCE OF PROTECTING YOUR PET WITH A CONE AND BODY SUIT. $5,000 later and 24 hours in the ER, I am disgusted that this product exists. My kitten was in an oxygen chamber for 18 hours and needed an X-ray, Ultrasound, a full blood panel, steroids, and IV fluids just to keep him alive - all due to ONE application of this product. I had to call Poison Control and speak to a Toxicologist as well. Any "medicine" that requires Poison Control and the ER is not actually medicine. Even if your vet says this medicine is safe, please take my experience seriously. I almost lost my two cats to this horrible topical. DO NOT BUY!!!!
