I have a 6th Gen iPad, less than a year old. The pen works on it (I have no screen protector). But is very messy. When I tried an apple pen, it was like writing with a real pen - much neater. I have an Otterbox cover. I had to cut off the screen protector to get it to work. The directions warn you about that. I would just buy the Apple pen next time.

Each stylus is double ended so you can have up to four different widths of stylus’ at the ready I love the precision you can get. They are not “smart” styluses and don’t give you pressure thickness etc but for the money a great alternative. Not only do I use them for graphics in my procreate iPad app but I use them for general surfing on my iPhone as well. Nice weight and feel in your hand especially because it’s the circumference of a regular ballpoint pen so accuracy is much more achievable and the clip is strong and convenient.

This pen works great ! Using in a professional environment to have clients ducusign in an iPad Air. Huge imorovememt over fingertip signing or the the other rubber tipped stylus I had purchased. Have been using all week with no apparent loss in charge. so effective will be purchasing 3 more as a giveaway to colleagues who are a referral source to me.

I've been wanting to buy a pen for my iPad. I really liked it, to be honest. It is very convenient to use and most importantly draw in my iPad. It is quite durable and stylish. I will advise friends who often use the iPad. I'm obviously happy with the purchase. Thanks! 5 points!

On an iPad trying to write on PowerPoint slides, the pen can be extremely laggy and straight lines often show up as a series of dots or not at all. Handwriting also comes out poorly. If you’re wanting to save on frustration and missing parts of lectures because you’re re-writing things, drop the dough for an Apple pen.

It’s perfect. You don’t have to connect it to an iPad. I’ve been using mine since Late November and still haven’t needed to charge it! It automatically turns off. Such a great buy!
