Fit for purpose
Not all users need an intervalometer with sub-second resolution but if you do, this is the device for you.I have to fire two Sony A7R IV's that are mounted in an aircraft at intervals that can be specified in multiples of a 10th of a second, like 2.3 seconds. I also require that the two cameras fire simultaneously and that they record the same number images during as session. First I bough the Aodelan wired remote (also a great intervalometer) and split the cable to both cameras. Sadly this didn't work. Only one camera responded to the shutter release commands.I then ordered two Aodelan WTR-2 wireless remotes and configured both receivers to respond to one of the transmitters. Works like a charm!A nice touch is that when you power down the transmitter, the receivers also power down.I suggest that receivers be sold seperately as well so that users who want to fire multiple cameras from one transmitter won't end up with excess transmitters.

Works great / great value
I love these I wouldn’t spend the money on a native branded shutter release this is more capable and half the price. The only thing is the cords for canon can be temperamental so I would buy extras.

A little confusing to figure out
The instructions are not the best and it took me a little to figure out. I have a Canon 6d mkii. I have had cameras for 50 years. From Kodak toys, Minolta 35mm, Canon 35mm, Canon dslr, and now my 6d. I have used cable releases and infrared remotes. Once I played with this remote, and watched a couple of videos, the light came on and it is easy to use. I like it a lot and it works well. It’s size and weight are perfect for me. I gave it 4 stars because I think the instructions should have been clearer.

Second one purchased and they're both working as advertised
A few months back I bought this model wireless shutter trigger for my Nikon D850/D810. The hardware set up is extremely easy and intuitive. The instruction manual proved to be more challenging because it's complex. I keep it handy when I need to change settings. The manual is small enough to keep in your camera bag or on the shelf in the studio. This kit has proved to be very reliable and has been everything the manufacturer said it would be. That's why I purchased another remote for my Lumix DMC-FZ1000, which is the product for this review. Anyway, I recommend the WTR-2, at least for how well it has worked for my Nikon and Lumix cameras. It will probably do just as well for any brand.

No Instructions for Nikon D3300, they should improve documentation. With effort, can be figured out
My first remote...I have fiddled with this for days, trying to find the settings where this might work with my Nikon D3300.According to the order page information, it was supposed to work with my camera, but it did not work. The instruction book says nothing about my Nikon settings that may be needed, so I have tried many, with no luck.Direct connect or wireless, with any number of camera settings just did not work.Nor does the manual have any support number to call. So, I checked the AODELAN web page, and under "support" they have a PDF of the User Manual, and that's it. However, under "Contact Us" they do have an individual to contact for support, with phone and email (in China). Don't know if he speaks English, so I sent him an email. However, although it took a few days to figure out, to get it to work with Nikon D3300, the Nikon settings MUST be set to what the AODELAN Wireless Remote is set to.On the Nikon D3300, those settings are on the back panel near the trash can (see page 6 of the D3300 manual see attached picture). If you have set your AODELAN to "S", then the Nikon should also be set to "S" if to "C" then the Nkon must be set to "C", if the AODELAN is set to "Timer" (lower left corner fo the LCD), then the Nikon D3300 must be also be set to "Release Mode" (either "Delayed Response" or "Quick-Release remote").I have mine set to long exposures because I want to take night pictures of the Milky Way, so the AODELAN remote timer then acts sort of weird when taking pictures. It seems the shutter will not close until I press the AODELAN remote again (twice) to close the shutter. In run time (remote timer mode), it seems to work weirdly, so now all I have to figure out is just what settings correspond to what I thought the manual says it needs. The really need to update the manual for the different model cameras, with screenshots. And it needs much better instructions on setting the timer mode (Delay, Long, Interval, and Number - to set number, BKLN must be set to "OFF" on the remote ).

very easy to learn and use
I really like the price for a full feature product. Some have complained about the instruction manual but I found it better than most. Read thru a it a few times while you have the hand held on and in your hand. It will do almost anything you want. The receiver comes with two port cables to cover most DSLR cameras. You need 4 AAA batteries , 2 in each unit. Other than that it worked right out of the box. I've had a good day in the field with it, no problems.

Stopped working after a few months.
I was really really really hopeful that this would work well for my business as I often want to control the camera from far away and grew tired of the need to set up a bluetooth or wireless connection to my phone every single time I want to do so. I decided on this one and it worked great for like 3 months and did exactly what I was hoping for, plug it in and done. However, the receiver completely stopped working one day and I thought maybe the batteries or something but I put fresh ones in and still no go. Bummed because it was exactly what I was looking for, but ended up just being a waste of money. I'd avoid the Panasonic version if I were you.

Excellent remote trigger
I have a Nikon D850 and often do multiple image photography. I wanted to find a reliable way to trip the shutter and not jar the camera from a distance. This worked easily and effectively.
