Works AMAZINGLY for TRAINING!
My dog seemed absolutely untrainable when it came to running off. We recently had to travel out of state for a family visit that will last this whole summer and my parents live off a busy state highway with no fence they have a few acres and I wanted my dogs to be able to play off leash. My boxer doesn’t leave my side due to seizures the lab on the other hand is another story! It took ONE DAY, LITERALLY ONE DAY in this collar and now she lets herself back in the porch when they are done playing in the yard. I would never write a review I didn’t stand behind and I would never put my animals at risk if I wasn’t confident in a product honestly I was skeptical 🤨 when I saw other reviews and tik tok videos myself but I had to give her the opportunity to enjoy the space we didn’t have in Florida. If you want to try a collar give this a go, I used the vibrate only the one day if I’m honest. I’d give it 10/5 if I could!

Great item, great value
So far I love this unit. I have had it for about a week now, and am really liking the functions on it. For the shock portion of the remote, you can do the standard minimum setting you put it at, but if the dog is not responding to that lower setting because they are Super amped up, then you can just hit the button next to it to double the shock. Obviously that is for special circumstances and not routinely used, but it is a feature that I have had to use. After a brief learning. With the settings and devices I now have the controls of it down Very well and it is highly effective. My last collar did not have the audible or vibration function so that is a real perk to this one. I highly recommend these. But just make sure you read the brochure/instructions and play around with it a little before you attach the colors to your dogs. The Lokke function is definitely a great idea and function of this unit. I highly recommend this product and am not receiving anything as far as compensation goes for my positive review or comments. And you cannot beat the price.

Great for training
The battery life is great. I’ve used it daily for the last 4 days, and the battery is still full. I haven’t used the “shock” option (and probably won’t), but the vibrate has been enough to help work on my dogs’ recall and barking. I bought them to work on territorial issues towards other dogs while on walks, and a quick beep is enough most of the time to redirect, and a light vibrate works when needed. The remote locks, so there is no accidental button pushing while in your pocket keeping your pet safe. The only issue I have had is remembering who is dog “1” vs dog “2” but that is more on me than the product.I haven’t ventured out much off leash yet to work on recall, so I’m not sure quite how far the range actually is, but the range I have tested is great.

One of the best ESC I’ve ever used (please read)
FIRST: If you have never used an Electronic Shock Collar, please read instructions well! Honestly, if it is your first time, please go to Petco or someone familiar with these collars to show you how to properly use them.Make sure the actual collars are turned off and the remote is in the locked position. Fit the collars around your dog’s neck. Make sure you fit it as manual says. Confused? There are plenty YouTube videos on how to use these properly.I have a 4 year old German Shepard and a 2 year old silver lab. My Shepard is a dainty athlete… sprints the yard constantly. She weighs 55-60lbs. My lab is a powerhouse 98lbs. His neck is thick. He’s just a tank.I have NEVER used the shock feature on the collar. I made it a big deal that they have a cool collar and every morning they come to me to put on their ESC. Day usually goes by and I take it off in the evening.I use the “tone” button 99% of the time (on level 2-4). When I press the tone button they know to leave it.A couple of times I’ve pressed the vibration button (on level 1 with GSD & level 2 with lab). For example I planted new fruit trees and I knew they would be extra curious. Tried the tone button the first couple times they checked it out, but it wasn’t enough… they tried to dig them up. Since I was making a demanding statement to “stay away”, I pushed the vibration button. * I DID NOT SHOCK **. After they got vibrated they took off running away from the trees and have not touched them since.I’m just giving you MY experience with ESC collars. I don’t aim to hurt my dogs… because you CAN seriously injure your dog when shocking (please read about this). This collar is used to help train your dog safely. If you’re not going to be consistent, don’t use this form of training.Once again, I HAVE NEVER SHOCKED MY DOGS! Actually, believe it or not, all I have to do is put the remote in my hand & they are aware of what it is. Your fur babies trust you so much…true story, my dogs don’t even have to have their collars on to follow instructions. If I have the remote in my hand, they think their collars are on.Our dogs are smart! Give them the chance to get praise! Unless a serious situation arises where your dog or someone is in danger, please don’t shock! It could stimulate emotions and reactions you don’t want.I rate these a 5/5 for performance, durability, range, vibration & all perks

Great collar, needs more spare silicone caps.
I bought a 2 pack 1 for each dog. The collars work great, they keep a charge well. I would definitely recommend these to others. There is 1 issue I have the rubber caps have come off of the electrodes, I usually find them, but not always 2 of them seem to be lost forever. I bought a pack of electrodes with the caps. I wish that Jugbow sold packs of just the caps or sent more extras with the collars. I have yet to use the shock mode and I don't plan on using the vibration and sound usually get their attention, but that doesn't mean that I won't ever have to use the shock feature so I need the caps. It can't cost much to sell large packs of just the electrode caps, it might even make the company money. Adding 10 of each size to the kit shouldn't cost much and will help the buyers. Overall its a great device with the exception of losing the caps and having to buy an electrode kit just to get more caps when the electrodes aren't needed. Think about it. If you sold a big pack of just the caps I would order it now.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It allows me to let the dogs run freely in the woods and recall them whenever they get too far away.
