I Love This Knife!
I love this knife. I look for reasons to use it. I have an old USA Schrade trapper pocket knife that's always in my pocket, however, I am tempted to run to the garage and grab the NT Cutter instead when the opportunity to use a knife arises. Lol.It is made extremely well and it feels excellent in the hand. As with most Japanese made products the quality, fit, and finish are excellent. The blade is held solidly, no slop to speak of in any direction that would be a problem for precision. The blade cartridge mechanism works great and is very cool and convenient. My only complaint would be that it doesn't have an onboard way to snap the blades. It comes with a separate snapper tool which would be easy to lose track of if you don't keep it in a certain place. I plan to drill a small hole in the snapper tool and put it on a key ring so that I can add it to a set of keys. I'm honestly surprised NT cutter didn't do this from the factory. Seems, obvious it's gonna be easy to lose. All in all, this knife is just awesome. And one of the most satisfying tool purchases I've ever made.

Okay, I get it now. This is actually better.
I've had Olfa snap off cutters for years. They're the original and I'd always considered them to be the Cadillac. Then my nerd crush endorsed this one on the Youtubes and suddenly I was struck with a fit of capitalistic apoplexy. But I get it now. I looked at my Olfa cutters when I first got them and wondered why they didn't have a blade magazine. I was even surprised because it seemed like such an obvious thing to add. I know they've come out with multi-blade models since...but there's something to be said for not being the first company to innovate something that allows their competitors to focus on actually improving the design. The NT Cutter company obviously agrees with that mindset and it's allowed them to make a superior product. The construction, weight and especially the finer degrees of adjustment over the blade length all tell me that this is the superior product. The XA-1 only beats it on ergonomics due to the shape and all the butylene. But to be fair, the smooth enough form factor of this cutter is a lot easier to get into and out of my pockets and toolbox and also attracts less dirt. The powder-coated aluminum also feels more sturdy but only time and standard abuse will tell.I am thinking of splurging to get the 19mm version of this cutter but the rest of my existing Olfa collection is telling me to resist. I mean, I didn't listen to that voice the last time...but you never know.

Nice quality
Blades are nice and sharp and it seems well built. It's a bit expensive for what it is. I don't mind the price tag if it's a good quality tool though.

The blade is a lot smaller than I thought.
I picked this NT cutter up because I saw it on an Adam Savage video unfortunately, he doesn't compare it to the 18 mm blade. This thing is tiny and great for precision work if that's what you were doing but if you were looking for an all-around general utility blade go with the 18 mm size.

Great knife, buy a dozen!
This is the knife I use for all tasks. I bought a bunch to keep in various places around the house. Once every couple months, I round them all up and refill the 5-blade cartridge, ready for the next few months. The blades are thin, and they can pull out if they get stuck, but it's great to have 5 backup blades ready to go. A great knife that feels good in the hand.

Best cutter on the market
I have tried many snapoff cutters over the years because of my work, but this is the best cutter on the market. High quality materials and construction that lasts for years. Multiple blades for high volume work. Impervious to water and unbreakable under daily working conditions. Fits the hand perfectly, and functions smoothly and flawlessly. The best that money can buy!

Excellent. Thank you adam savage
I have nothing bad to say about this except. Where have you been. I am a leather crafter and use this for cutting templates out of .5 mm polystyrene and cereal boxes. It flows through 6 and 7 0z leather. I ordered box of 50 extra blades and ready to order more even though I don't need them yet.
