WINWEND Endoscope Camera with Light - IP67 Waterproof Borescope with 16.5ft Semi-Rigid Cord - 4.3" LCD Screen - HD 1080P Inspection Camera for Men

Amazing value with good quality multi focal length camera and brightness control. ~16 ft long cable with thin camera (~3/8" diameter?) at tip that has adjustable brightness LEDs to illuminate dark locations. The cable had the perfect flexibility and stiffness for my needs. Able to maintain enough rigidity to be fed ~16 ft through 4" corrugated drain pipes easily, and flexible enough to make it around tighter curves in ~2" pipes. Successfully helped Inspector to verify depth of concrete down ~7 ft inspection hole. Clearly able to see difference between soil and concrete. Paid for itself 100 times over. Also used to inspect swimming pool bottom drain pipe ~10 ft deep under water (water proof!). Followed ~16 ft of 2" diameter pipe, down from skimmer entrance underwater, down underground under pool, to the bottom of pool drain to verify cleaning efforts were effective, and to verify that the pipe had no obvious leak holes. For the 2" diameter pool drain pipe inspection, I slid a ~2" long segment of ~1" PVC pipe over the camera and securely taped it into place so that the camera was centered in the PVC pipe segment, in order to lift the camera tip away from bottom of the pool pipe (thus providing the ability to see all sides of the pipe the camera was being slid through, and not just one side of the pipe). Sometimes it was helpful to try rotating the entire cable and pulling back and forth to change the camera orientation within the pipe being inspected. (The endoscope came with some tip (camera tip) attachments, like a pick-up magnet, which I haven't used yet) Impressive camera coloration, focus and resolution on the ~4"+ LCD display screen. The camera was able to focus on debris in the pipes ~1-~2 inches away from the camera, as well as ~20 ft away when camera removed pipes to see surrounding landscape. It would be nice to have the ability to record video onto an SD card to share inspections, however I was able to use iPhone camera pointed at the ~4"+ LCD screen to take grainy videos an photos, and even FaceTime in realtime with a remote expert. (Remote video inspection, effectively).

Very clear, would recommend it made inspection easy, plus the long borescope, saves time and money.

A handy piece of kit if you have a use for it... I wanted to set ignition timing on my motorbike, but didn't know if previous owners had swapped the original low compression pistons for high compression ones, which means a difference of four degrees ignition advance. To remove the tank, exhaust, carbs and head would be a chore, and after pricing up the gaskets and 'O' rings needed to finish the job (and the ongoing hassle of torqueing and retorqueing the head) it turned out cheaper and way quicker to buy this, which gave me a clear picture instantly... Sorted :-)

This is probably the most useful tool of my field that I have ever had. Big ups to the company that made this just because it is so helpful and makes it so I can prove situations and dryer and Washer repairs where somebody has a clogged vent or a clogged drain standpipe. For the price of the value, this is absolutely amazing. The only thing that I changed about the item is maybe adding a memory card slot so you could save your photos or an app that you could control it and save the photos
