Works for record player
I bought this to be able to play my vinyl records through my sound bar and it works great. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

LiNKFOR 3.5mm to SPDIF Converter
the ability to hook up this is nice but the EMI noise it causes is horiable should be pulled from sales and fixed and or not sold or add a EMI shelding to it

2006 Phillips TV to 2010 Bose system works now.
Was able to connect my old a$$ Phillips tv to my somewhat old a$$ Bose speakers. Works great! I ain’t got the money to buy new tech for the amount I use it, so this was a nice way to get them to play with each other.

Product did not work for recording from device's analog out to Toslink in of the recording device.
The LiNKFOR Analog to Digital Audio Converter RCA to Digital did not work for the purpose for which I purchased it and is also way overpriced. I had hope it would enable recording from my PC and laptop to my minidisc and DAT recorders but did not work. There are a number of metal alloy analog to digital converters that offer both Toslink and coaxial outputs, while the LINKFOR is plastic and only has the Toslink output; no coaxial output. It was my understanding that LINKFOR made quality products, which is why I purchased the analog to digital converter and I'm sure they do, but the company's analog to digital converter I received did not work as intended and cost more than more versatile converters.

Better Than Your Average Converter
Product worked fine, but the input to my receiver wasn't working. Would suggest this one over the others as the wires are already tied together in the little box.

Perfect with my pre-amp
I searched for the following info/instructions, so just in case anyone needs them: My turntable requires a pre-amp and I wanted to be able to play records using my Samsung soundbar. Since my turntable and pre-amp do not have blue tooth and my soundbar does not have RCA connectors, I needed this. This nifty thing was the perfect solution. My record player is connected to the pre-amp as usual with RCA plugs. Then I plugged the Digital Audio Converter's RCA connectors into the pre-amp and plugged its optical audio converter cable into my soundbar. I made sure my soundbar was tuned to use the optical audio converter plug instead of the TV HDMI or anything else it is connected to. Sounds fantastic!

Works Well
Edit: This device works nicely, just remember to update the settings on your soundbar or whatever device you're plugging this into.I was able to get sound from my computer to my soundbar with this device.
