1st class. works really well
Works REALLY well. Only drawback, I need to plug into a wall charger. It doesn't pull much power, so a battery pack keeps turning off.I'm using to control a small Pattern light projector as a backdrop for musicians. ``the remote only has a short range ( and needed to be in front of it) this has sorted my dillema.

Brilliant piece of equipment
Was struggling to find something to operate box that I had built into my media wall. (totally forgot about IR control's) Panicking on how I was going to overcome thinking that I was going to redesign wall. No help from either Media wall companies or TV suppliers on how to get around issue. Saw systems on line that were stupid money then found this. Plugs into the box and draws power via USB connector. You aim the smaller eye at the front of the box and the larger eye I have set under TV so it looks part of the set. Works brilliantly.Thank you for a great piece of equipment.

sensitive and discreet
Our Blu-Ray player is located in a unit which is out of the line of sight of the infrared remote control when you're sitting watch a film. Consequently, any time you need to pause, rewind, eject etc a film, you have to stand, point the remote at the player, and keep stabbing buttons until the player responds (it never works first time). It's a frustrating experience and often spoils enjoyment of the film. To fix the problem, I'd initially tried to buy a new Blu-Ray player that has a wireless remote, rather than an IR remote - like all our other AV devices we have in the room - but it appears such a player does not exist, at any price. It seems the only remedy is an IR relay. The Cable Matters Infrared Remote Extender Cable was quickly installed and worked straight away. After a bit of experimentation (hint - tape the receiver and emitter in position with masking tape at first to find the most effective location, before using the attached adhesive to fix them permanently in position). The receiver is sensitive enough for you not to need a clear line of sight for it to respond, the devices are small enough that you barely notice them and it works first time, every time. Watching films at home is now a much more enjoyable experience. So, problem solved - and for a great deal less than the cost of a new Blu-Ray player.

One end is a transmitter
Oh, one end is a reciever and the other is a transmitter. It doesnt transmit via the usb plug. You need to know that or you will lose days off your life

Works perfectly
My Blu-ray player is in the room next door with the Denom AV in the media box. I was using my tv remote for my Blu-ray player but there were many instances where it wouldn’t work and I’ll need to head into the other room to use the Blu-ray remote. Nightmare. Found this as a solution and it works perfectly. Can also use it for my denom too as they are both in the same box.Very easy to install, wire is thin so easy to get through the wall to the Blu-ray player. Great value for money.

Life saver
Excellent productVery easy to install no setup requiredWorked straight awayNow I can control my 4k blu ray player as it sits behind my projector screen on the racking, been a pain trying to setup 3d movies with screen down, this solves that problem *****

Range of extender limited
Why did you choose this product over others?:Appeared adequate for my needsValue for money:Good price, but range very limited. It is necessary to stand within 3 metres of the receiver sensor to achieve reliable channel changing and other functions

Perfect solution
For years we have struggled with contolling the volume of our Sony Audio player connected to our television. Then I wondered if anyone made an IR repeater. The answer was indeed, YES. So I began looking for. Some come with nothing but wires to glue to your devices. Then I saw one that satisfied our needs. It arrived overnight. It had three comonents, a receiver, a USB plug for power, and a transmitter. Perfect. All three were labled - no instructions needed although there were instructions. My wife removed the adhesive from the receiver and placed it on the top of our 80 inch tv. The shee plugged the USB in a spare port and then removed the adhesive from the transmitter and placed it on another corner of our TV. All the wiring is behind the TV. Took us 10 minutes and it works perfectly from 15 feet away. A blue LED lights up steady when a good signal is recived and rapidly blinks if it detects a signal but not strong enough to repeat. I give 5 stars for simplicity, economy, and ease of installation. I would incluide a photo but everything is behind the tv or just poking out where it is barely visable.

Annoying blue light
It works fine but has a giant blue light that lights up when you press a button or when it detects any kind of IR activity. Would be nice to be able to turn that light off

Fernbedienung funktioniert
Problemlos zu verbinden. Nachteil ist, wenn der Samsung Fernseher im Stand by ist, liefert der der USB Anschluss keinen Strom.
