Trimmers are loud. Let you know from jump. So if you need something quieter this is not it. Clippers are quiet. Both built just like babyliss always has. Nice matte finish. They work great. I have no issues with it heating up or the blades getting hot. They aren’t overly heavy. Make sure to oil and keep clean so the blade stays sharp longer. I know from working in this industry for 16 years so many don’t oil or clean their clippers! The only thing I don’t like is the charging cord is short and they did not turn on to use while plugged in. That’s inconvenient.

Man I have been cutting for over 10 years and I have to say these are some of best clippers I’ve owned. My wife got these for my 40th birthday and I couldn’t be more pleased. They’re very light in your hands but also powerful. I love how you can hear the hair being cut. They were easy to zero gap. I like the tools it came with and the grip is super comfortable. This was a very good investment.

The handles have a rubberized, textured grip. The adjustable blades “click” when you move the lever, and won’t get knocked out of position as you work. Battery life? I’ve charged them once since I got them last month, and use them almost daily (I keep my hair cut short). They also charge using a USB-C cable. Easy peasey. Definitely sturdier than my old, Wahl cordless clippers, too. You might want a different set of guards, however. The kit comes with a few, between 0.5 and 4, but the sizes don’t seem to match up with those of my old, Wahl clipper guards.

I received the new Babyliss LimitedFX machines with the charging cord, cutting hair guards, instruction manual and no charging station as stated in the reviews. I charged both as suggested both use and so far so good. Great grip feel, with strong, smooth operational performance. I’m not a professional barber but have been cutting hair for over 20yrs with Andis machines. Babylisspro cordless machine is now my first choice for machines.

I purchased this BaBylissPRO LimitedFX Hair Clipper and Trimmer Prepack (Black) set on April 28, 2025. I have been very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. However, the trimmer stopped working this week. It no longer powers on even after fully charging and cleaning according to the manufacturer's instructions. Given that this product is less than a year old, it seems that it is defective. I request a replacement trimmer or refund amount suitable to purchase a new trimmer (only) as the clipper is still functioning. Thank you for your consideration.
