Best shoulder rest ever!!
Love, love, love this shoulder rest as I have a shorter neck & this has a lower profile. I even bought a second one for another violin. Thank you to the maker!!

Needs more adjustability
The curve for me was going the wrong way. I took out the screws (lost one, they're tiny!) That allowed me to remove the foot grips and switch them. They come out very easily. Now the violin rests on my small shoulder. I have a low relief chin rest also since my neck isn't that long.

Decent shoulder rest
Funnily enough, has quite a steampunk feel to it. I enjoy that you can fit this quite literally anywhere on your violin and I often have one section near the inner curves of the violin because I'm broad shouldered and I prefer my rest being further out. This shoulder rest is honestly a step up from using a sponge for anyone trying to transition into playing without a shoulder rest and does not dampen the sound whatsoever. If there is one flaw, it's in the screws designed to hold the brackets to the rest. Either I have a very heavy head or these screws aren't tight enough. The screws have already shaved from adjusting with a small philips head. If you're lighter on your head, it shouldn't be a problem. It will never fall off the violin, but for me that design flaw is somewhat glaring.

Stable & beautiful
I absolutely love this shoulder rest. For the first time in my life I feel like my violin is sitting comfortably stable. And it’s so incredibly attractive. My one irk is that the type of rubber encasing the feet catches my hair—one hair at a time. ALL the time. I beg the makers to PLEASE change to a smooth surface on the shaft of the feet. I don’t want to perform & rehearse in a ponytail. I should be able to put my violin down without painfully having hair yanked out of my head.

Not the Answer to my Shoulder Rest Woes
I have a difficult time with shoulder rests and for some reason thought this might work...nope!

Light and flexible is a good thing!
This works very well as a thigh rest for a Torres style Spanish guitar.
