I got this extension nipple to fit a water filter supply tap. The pipe in the wall was recessed so far that, after fitting the adapter supplied with the water filter, the tap could not be fittedThis nipple's internal hole is hexagonal (almost visible in the rightmost nipple in the attached image) allowing the nipple to be screwed in and out with an Allen KeyGood materials, well manufactured
