Very useful bit of kit

I use this thing constantly for everything be it woodwork, metalwork, leather or DIY

Looks and feels well made haven’t used yet. Price reasonable

Good for purpose

i opted for the 12" black alloy version of this product - in principle it is ok but i feel it could be better - first up the degree section appears only to be painted on, thus it is only a matter of time before a few bumps and knocks removes the markings! secondly the locking screw does NOT lock the rule into position -either the threaded hole in the black unit is not deep enough or the thread on the screw is not long enough [my guess is the thread on the locking screw is insufficient]. However this can be overcome if you happen to have a spare washer that you can slip over the locking screw thread and sit it under the screw head. i popped an M5 washer over [might even be M4 as it was just sat on my desk] and this then allows the rule to be locked. knowing this i will now probably and carefully Loctite the washer in place. You can now buy a Parkside version for slightly less money from Lidl as i discovered only today!

Accurate piece of kit with a convenient size for portability.

Great value high quality rule and angle gauge. This can be used in two different ways. Firstly, it can be used as a square with the rule at the back of the protractor shape where it is held in place with a very string magnet in a nicely machined channel. The second method is as the angle gauge. To use it this way you remove the screw and rule and fit the rule to the front of the protractor using the screw. The angle required can be seen through the gap in the rule and the screw tightened to the desired angle. It works very well in both cases and is a smart high-quality tool. Excellent.

even if you twist the screw very hard it does not stay in place and moves easily, given this is pretty much it's only value as a tool, this isn't a good quality item.

Goniometro professionale con tanto di righello. Interamente in acciaio, solido, pesante, validissimo per ogni lavoro di bricolage e fai da te. Non lamentatevi del prezzo, questo è il genere di strumento che dura praticamente in eterno quindi lo comprerete solo una volta in vita vostra ma avrete un ottimo utensile per i vostri lavori di bricolage sia esso un mero hobby o qualcosa di più professionale. Assolutamente consigliato.

Me ha gustado mucho la regla. Estaba buscando una regla de metal por que las de plástico se me estropeaban por llevarlas en la bolsa de herramientas y el uso continuado y esta es genial. Viene en tres partes independientes. La regla en si, la base con los ángulos marcados y la rosca de sujeción. Esta última viene alojada en una rosca de la base donde se aloja cuando no la usas y se coloca en el agujero del centro de la regla para medir ángulos. La regla se fija con la base que está imantada y se puede desplazar para hacer mediciones con mayor comodidad. El metal se nota de calidad y resistente que es lo que buscaba en una herramienta así y el iman es lo suficientemente fuerte como para que no se desplace ni se separe. En general me parece un acierto y estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.

La polyvalence de l'outil est très agréable, je l'utilise souvent comme jauge de profondeur et comme outil de centrage de pièces rondes. L'équerrage est parfait, il y a peu de jeu entre les pièces. Le seul défaut est le fait que la fixation de la latte se fait par un aimant. Il ne faut pas grand chose pour que ça glisse et fausse la mesure.

Me he decantado por la versión todo en metal porque a largo plazo me parece la opción más duradera y creo que no me he equivocado. Se siente de buena calidad (al menos en peso) y como transportador de ángulos, mucho más práctico que una escuadra multifunción. Como puedes ver en las fotos se compone de tres partes, una regla con una ventana que te indica los grados, una base con los grados marcados que en la parte inferior incorpora un imán lo suficientemente potente como para poder sujetar la regla sin miedo y una perilla para fijar el ángulo, que queda guardada en la pieza principal cuando no la necesitas (por ejemplo, para medir profundidades como en mi ejemplo).
