I use this on a thick door desk and it works great for hanging my backpack on.

Love that it can be mounted sideways on a desk leg. My bag usually has 2 laptops and other stuff running 15-20lbs. No issues at all.

Solid and holds my heavy backpack at work filled with books, water bottle, laptop.

Just set this up and holy hunk of metal, this thing isn't goin anywhere.4 outta 5 cause I'm definitely keeping it but not sure this is home office aesthetic. Definitely works though.My Kallax + Lagkapten Ikea desktop is near 2" thick and I wanted a hook that'd fit that.A lot of other products' mounts were either to narrow or made of plastic. I plan to take this to DJ gigs and wanted something durable.This thing is almost too big though I'm sure I'll configure better placement.Clearly could support way more weight than my headphones. I might wind up finding another headphone hook and then use this for a backpack hook.The placement of side 4 screw holes are slightly limiting for DIY mod but might be able to secure something else to the other side (light stand, etc).As per a headphone hook, I like the designs that are collapsible / the hook folds back but most of their reviews mentioned they fall apart.

I have too many headphones and already have a pair of hooks I got from drop. I have a separate set for gaming, one for music, and one for working. I switch between them regularly throughout the day. These hooks work just as well as the ones I got from drop. They are easy to assemble and install. The hooks seem like they have decent stretch and have been able to hold multiple pairs of headphones without issue. I highly recommend for anyone in need of something to store multiple pairs of headphones.

The clasp is just too heavy if you want something portable
