Body Biotics is not like the dairy-derived microbe supplements. It is made of dormant soil based organisms in their dormant state. Here is the technical explanation: This biological miracle which allows Body Biotics to be so uniquely different and effective, has also made it difficult over these years to explain to our consumers why we do not list the number of Colony Forming Units (CFU) on our product. These next few paragraphs should help to clarify this.What are Colony Forming Units (CFU)?The concept of Colony Forming Units (CFU) being worthy of importance was first introduced in 2002, when the US FDA and World Health Organization recommended that "the minimum viable numbers of each Probiotic strain at the end of their shelf-life" be reported on labeling..." 2 "...but most companies that give a number report the viable cell count at date of manufacture, a number probably much higher than existing at the moment of consumption...." 4"...CFU numbers in and of themselves have little to nothing to do with the potency or efficacy of a Probiotic..." 1) *CFU generally refers to a mass of individual cells of the same organism, growing together. CFU is used as a measure of the number of microorganisms present in or on the surface of a sample after they are incubated at some suitable temperature for a number of days. The colonies that form are then counted to enumerate the available CFU numbers at that moment in time. However, according to one top ranking North American laboratory, "...THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION to this standard form of testing...""...CFU is NOT a proper measure for individual cells or spores as a colony may be formed from a single or a mass of cells or spores..." 5This last statement is critical to understanding the dynamic nature of Body Biotics. If we were to enumerate the CFU numbers on our label, you would be more than impressed. However, since we know that the term CFU has "little to nothing" to do with the actual efficacy of a Probiotic, we chose not to use this term. Instead, we hope to offer our consumers a broader, deeper understanding of the biological nature and wide range of health benefits available to them from a "natural" SBO Probiotics Consortia. The same kind of SBOs which originated in the soil and once protected us through our daily consumption of organic "farm to table" foods.BSBOPC are dormant, alive and thriving in their own natural Prebiotics ancestral food source. They DO NOT have a finite number. When activated with water or juice, these "alive and thriving" organisms, trained in nature to withstand the harshest of environments, awaken and begin immediately to multiply. *Therefore, listing a CFU amount on the Body Biotics label would be inaccurate and misleading. Each individual will experience a multiplication of the number of organisms in one capsule of Body Biotics based on several important factors:    Current condition of the gut: a pH balanced friendly gut welcomes this new addition, whereas, a hostile unfriendly gut immediately fights back against the friendly invaders. A war literally begins in an effort to crowd out the unfriendly bacteria and recreate a health balance between the two. How long after the manufacturing date will this expire ( my bottle only has manufactured date- no expiration date)?

Years ago I sold this product in an MLM situation before it became avail on Amazon.  I had 400 doctors in my down line. At that time the product was tested for 5 years with no change in potency. It is  thought that these Soil Based Micro Organisms, SBOs has no expiration date or shelf life and will retain its potency indefinitely as far as I know. Another thing I have found is that through the years there is never any change in potency. I have taken the product for off and on for 20 years . It remains the same consistency in potency.  The product actually works slowly and remains in the body for 72 hrs and usually it works on the part of the body that is most ill, that sickness will get worse for a while before it clears, if that makes sense. For instance if you broke your leg when you were a child that bone will hurt again as the product works on a cellular level and visits every part of the body addressing it in its entirety. Its excellent for memory fog as the inside of the body is like a swimming pool it clears fog.  I recently had an abscess tooth and poured it right on to it and the pain stopped.  You can pour it right into bed sours and cancer patients use it to the stop the pain when all else has failed. I use it when I get sick.

This was called 'Nature's Biotics' years ago. Initially it was sold only to Doctors. In the 1979 some people taking it in San Francisco bought an entire page in the San Francisco Chronicle saying buy this it cures HIV. The FDA went in to close them down claiming they were falsely advertising the cure for HIV. But the guy who pd for the ad was a customer of the product. THERE IS AN ARTICLE PUBLISHED YEARS BEFORE WRITTEN IN THE EARLY 1970s, 'CRITTERS'. IT IS A SCIENTIFIC PAPER WRITTEN ABOUT THE THE PRODUCT BY DOCTORS FOR DOCTORS. The original article is a very powerful, technical and scientific detailing what the product does on a cellular level and its uses.

At first the product was sold only thru Multi Level Marketing MLM. I sold it for about 7 years and had 400 doctors in my downline. Many of them purchased it for patients who had come from hospitals who were called 'undiagnosed' or sick and could not be cured because medical science could not figure out what was wrong with them. Some doctors started their patients on as little as 1/2 cap every other day. Cancer patients took it who were dying because it was the only thing to stop the pain. This is great for dogs, and cures them instantly, especially hot spots and internal stuff like worms. I have tons of people who took it thru the years and were helped in many ways.
