Worked right out of the box, going a solid 25 feet,which is longer than USB 3.0 recommended cable distance, but this is clearly amplifying the signal, and must be getting its power for the amplification from the USB C port on my Mac Pro desktop itself. Previously, I was extending the reach to my Mac OS Time Machine LaCie backup that ws routed through a Seagate external backup with hub. There were clearly signal interruptions that would cause the LaCIe to disconnect suddenly; I blame this on my extending the distance too far for the USB cable without amplification. This cable amplifies the signal extending the range for a reliable signal at 25 feet. I've only been using it for two days, but the difference was immediate and beneficial. well made product, and surprised at the nice construction and robust cable. I'll add again in a week or two to confirm that the quality continues.

I fought problems with wireless keyboards and mice for years. I used to use one at an even greater distance from my TV than I am now, with no problems. Now I guess there's more interference, because they won't stay connected no matter what I do--RF, BlueTooth, whatever. So I got this and ran the cable under a rug to the side of my couch. I'm connected to my computer on my TV 8 feet away with no dropouts, delays, sudden repeats, etc. So much better!

Hub is already defective after about a month of use. One of the USB-A ports loses connectivity constantly. Very disappointed.

Worked great to extend a mouse, keyboard, and razer Tartarus to my couch. Handles all of them without issue. Only wish it was a little heavier to stay in place, but I added some velcro to attach to the back of the end table so no big deal.

Works great for my Mac mini. I got this to use with my laser engraver which is across the room from the computer.

I would recommend this item. I usually get disappointment after disappointment when I buy items from brands I don't know but this item is great. The cable is long a durable and I didn't have any issues connecting usb-c or usb devices. Data transfer works great.

Its good in a pinch, but 2 complaints from me were its clearly not full speed. But also extremely loose in the computer port.

Been using this product to allow me to keep my PC in a separate room, and I use a powered tplink USB hub plugged into this expander. Works fantastic, the build quality is great.

This works well, Since I did not want wireless controllers I got this extender which connect to the mini PC which runs the Batocera game emulator.

After some research I’m glad I picked this item. Not the cheapest of the lot but likely one of the best! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a usb hub with a long cable.
