Very sturdy construction
A very sturdy tool I expected it to be a bit wobbly at this price but it exceeded my expectations. Would recommend.

Excellent reach and excellent clamping pressure. The coating on the handle and release lever make it comfortable to use too.I bought a 2 pack, one was nice and firm, the other, a little bit wobbly. As another reviewer has mentioned, that's a bit disappointing for a new item, and if this was a missile guidance system, very worrying. But, a thwack on one of the rivets with a lump hammer and it's now as good as gold. They're both getting plenty of use and they're holding up perfectly.A word of warning... As I said, I bought a 2 pack. It would have been cheaper if I'd bought two 1 packs. Make sure you do the maths before buying (I didn't). At the time of writing this review, one 2 pack is £19.47 + £6.85 delivery (£26.32), two 1 packs are £17.98 + £6 delivery (£23.98)

Bought for a mate and he is very pleased with the tool.

18" C clamp
This clamp arrived today and to be honest it is not very good quality. The rivets that hold it together are loose causing the clamp jaws to misalign. I also bought 2 Neilson 6" locking C clamps that are both fine, but the 18" is not good. It will do for what I need it for at work but I would choose a different make next time if I want something decent. At £9 I spose I can't moan as a top make would cost many times more, but still no matter what the make it should at least be solid when new. This product isn't
