Ordered to replace my old hydrometer this is a great hydrometer not super expensive but looks and preforms like it cost a lot more! Great for the money! Love this hydrometer! Easy to use and measured accurately very thick very nice!

Haven't actually used this yet to measure specific gravity of starting or finished mash, but I'm sure it will come on handy if when I try out a grain or fruit mash. Comes with a graduated cylinder, and bottle brush a plus👍

Being incredibly fragile may be the nature of the beast. The seller was quick to replace the unit. The second one arrived in perfect condition. It works well, but be very gentle with it. I can't tell if it's made of glass or plastic, but it's very thin.

Works okay, but be careful not to drop it.

Bought two of these. Both broke within first use. I simply dropped it into the cylinder while full of liquid, and it broke. Will not buy again. Be very very very gentle with it!
