SMALLRIG 35"/90cm Softbox LA-O90 Quick Release Octagon for Bowens Mount COB

Been looking for a new small soft box for a while and as we all know, Smallrig make some great kit and this soft box is a typical high standard Smallrig product. I use this mostly at weddings. It's light, folds away durable and great value for money. When shooting weddings I don't want big bulky kit so the size of this is perfect.

Very good quality and incredible value. Only niggle is the adaptor disc tends to spin when the unit is being attached. Would be better if the disc could be locked. Also would like to know if there are alternative adaptor discs to fit eg Profoto available as this is so much more convenient to put up than their own versions

It’s an excellent product. Simple to use, folds up nicely and it’s got a handy bag to store it in.

90cm Softbox LA-090. A nice, lightweight soft box that packs down flat for easy transportation. However I was disappointed to find the one I received had poor stitching in 3 separate places around the outer edge that holds the velcro to the main reflector. I buy a lot of Smallrig gear and this is the first time I have ever had to return something - I'm hoping this is just a one-off. If you purchase one, check the stitching before you throw the box away.

A good sized softbox, with a handy honeycomb grid. The best part is that it folds up at the press of a button, making it much easier to store when not in use. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic softbox and very easy to setup and fold away. Clips into Bowens mount easily, casts a great, evenly diffused, light and for the cost, absolutely no complaints. Will seek out smallrig products first whenever I'm in the market for photography equipment from now on.

Die SMALLRIG 90 cm Softbox gefällt mir sehr gut. Besonders praktisch ist der schnelle und unkomplizierte Auf- und Abbau – das spart gerade bei mobilen Einsätzen einiges an Zeit. Die Softbox funktioniert einwandfrei und macht genau das, was sie soll. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Handhabung und dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Klare 5 Sterne!
