Taylor 5932 Large Dial Kitchen Cooking Oven Thermometer, 3.25 Inch Dial, Stainless Steel, Oven Thermometers, Silver - 2 Pack

These thermometers are consistently accurate and easy to read. I’ve purchased 6 of them in the past because of their reliability. I am a licensed home inspector and inspect around 400 houses per year, using these to test the accuracy of the oven thermostats.

I ordered 2 because I wanted to see if they would have identical readings, they did. My oven was off 15 degrees from knob setting. A easy fix after looking at oven manual or you could use the Google machine. They appear to be good quality and are large enough to read thru oven door.

Works well can sit on rack or hang from underneath. Dial is starting to yellow with time though.

UPDATE: Bit confused by this thermometer tbh. At times, the temp reading is way off, but at other times it appears to be super accurate. Might be the placement..? I’ll have to try moving it around inside the oven to see if it changes anything. At one point, it was reading above 500F when the oven was set to 350F. 😳 Surely our oven isn’t THAT inaccurate. Works as it should. Large enough to read with the oven door closed. Nice to have. This will ensure accurate baking temps.

As a learning home baker, this dual oven thermometer has been a game changer for me. It helps me monitor both the oven and my bread at the same time, which takes away the guessing. My bakes have been much more consistent, and I feel more confident using it. Definitely recommend for anyone still learning like me!

Large size makes them easy to read, especially for older users. I tested them for accuracy with my toaster oven and my regular gas oven. In both cases, they measured the oven temperature to within one degree -- quite impressive. They appear to be of good quality.

Purchased to verify oven temperature. This clearly showed my 1978 model GE oven (!) was off temp 25 degrees. Too hot! That is telling me my oven thermostat isn't working. I can hang it or use the stand in the oven. This little jewel was a great price & it helped trouble shoot I the issue. Now I'll just buy a new stove:)

Seems to work as intended, but a bit confusing that the temp doesn't start at 0.

Works very well and is NSF hygiene quality. Oven thermometers are not common but this one is very good. I have had Taylor thermometers in my kitchens for 40 years they have always worked well.

Fantastic - and accurate!! I knew my oven was between 20°C - 30°C off (lower than the dial) so I tried this oven thermometer out to get an exact temperature (so it’s easier to work with) and when it settled, it showed it was at 25°C off. The large dial face is great, and the base is sturdy, yet not “chunky” so it fits comfortably on an oven tray along with your pastry trays/roasting pans.
