Spouting Green Frog Solar Powered Ceramic Water Feature

This is excellent and works really well if the solar panel is in the sun. I would point out that the pebbles don't come with it. Sits at grous level and once I put pebbles in will be great for bees and small creatures to drink from. Currently our puppy likes to drink out of it.

It’s larger than I expected, but I must say it’s lovely. It goes like the clappers when the sun shines. I’m so glad I bought it. It really completes my little garden and it’s so therapeutic to listen to the water trickling into the bowl when I sit out on a warm day. The neighbours keep popping round to see it too and ooh and ah in delight. A hit with all who see it.

really quite pleased with it, the bowl and the little froggy are nicely made, although I’m not sure why it’s not made to sit centrally , but hey-Ho. The solar panel thingy is good quality, much better than when I’ve bought a mini pump before. the main thing is , the pump obviously needs to sit as low in the bowl as possible , to remain covered with water for as long as possible (otherwise you’ll be forever topping int up) but the tube from the pump to the frog is a hard plastic thing, and if you put the pump at the lowest point of the bowl, the tube doesn’t sit right, up the frogs opening underneath. SO, you need to buy a length of 10 ml silicone tubing to sit on the out put valve of the pump, feed it up through the frog until it comes out of the frogs mouth and then just cut the tub flush with the opening. Then it’s a great little water feature for a small space, it’s really quite charming with the addition of some pebbles and maybe some duck weed.

Frog, pump and base are separate so to build it you have to fit the outlet of the pump through the aperture in the base into the frog then push the frog gently into the aperture in the base leaving the pump part in the base, fill with water, connect the cable from the pump to the solar panel and watch it go, gentle noise makes it relaxing to sit next to. Be aware that this pump will only work in direct sunlight though not in normal daylight. Pump will need cleaning regularly from debris and leaves etc,

This is lovely ,a bit tricky to build but a lovely feature in the garden. The filter needs cleaning out regularly as it clogs easily with leaves etc. Beware the packaging, it's well protected and some of it is sharp.

When the sun shines it works well. However the parts connecting the pump to the frog are poor, the parts are too short so the pump does not sit on the bottom of the bowl. The pump only just sits below the water level and the large hole (which allows the cable to pass through) means you can not fill the bowl to the top with water. It requires to be filled at least once a day. If the pump was able to sit at the bottom this would not be a problem. I don't think I would buy again.

Looks great, easy to set up, but pump lead too short and pump failed after 48 hours. With Amazon it appears you have to return whole item, not just request replacement part. Disappointing.

Great product. Needs lots of sunshine to work. Will work well south England naturally. Get the best weather always . Alright for some
