instax WIDE 400 instant camera, Automatic exposure and flash control

Super easy to use, produces much better pictures than my instax mini, just quite a big camera to take around with you!

My Christmas present to myself and I love it. Aside from the extravagant price of the film, it's absolutely worth it. Unlike the smaller instax cameras this one takes really decent size pictures which are great to display. It's easy to use, just choose your distance by turning the lens and press the button. The photos come out a bit dark if you don't have plenty of light, and the further away you are so bear that in mind. Also, per my photo, don't take it out while it's snowing or water will get into the film section and add an interesting colour drip feature to the photos! It hasn't damaged the camera though, the next set of photos came out great. I recommend the black and white film if you're getting this as it creates some really great images. Bonus: it comes with a selfie close up lens and 2 little wedges for positioning the camera when it's on self timer mode for group shots!

The camera has now been used for over 100 shots at multiple events. Here are a few of my remarks, both positive and negative: - I love the wide-picture format of the printed images. I would not want anything smaller. - Generally, the pictures look great, however, sometimes they become overexposed and look almost completely white. It's hard to assess the focus point and exposure in bright scenes. - The camera body is very large; not ideal when travelling, but I do like the design. - The camera is loaded with photo packs for 10 shots. There is a small counter on the side that keeps track of the number of remaining shots, very handy. - The selfie lens attachment feels very flimsy and does not attach well. - The selfie timer is a bit confusing to operate; not sure if it's possible to disable it once activated. - It is not possible to disable the flash; the camera decides when it's on or off. - I would prefer if it was rechargeable instead of using external batteries Overall very happy with the camera. It has produced a lot of great photos.

I like it a lot. I wish it had manual flash like the instax wide 300 but it has it's own unique features, like twisting the lens for distance and a timer mode, so I'd say it's on-par and not an upgrade. Which is disappointing since this is the next one. But as a product overall 5 stars. The instax colour film is cheaper than the polaroid film in general so I choose this

this is my first review on Amazon. If this has zero star, I wouldn't give it one. When I got my new camera, I put a film cartridge, and you know what, the first black protective film got stuck in the film ejection slot, it couldn't move at all. I tried to remove the battery and restart the camera, but there was still no response and a faulty light was displayed. I tried to push black protective film gently, and when i repress the shutter button, there was no film move out. IT IS A BROKEN CAMERA. I took the camera to a repair shop and the professionals told me it was a general fault with the wide400, they have repaired many of these brand new wide 400 because of a gear set failure. I need to spend a lot of money on repairs, to change a new set of gear. I am very disappointed in Fuji film Corporation, I am a crazy fan of them. I waited almost a month to use the camera, but they sent me a broken one with poor quality. I was even more disappointed with Amazon, when I told them about my situation, no one helped me solve the problem, I got in touch with the customer service associate, they always said the same thing to me, and it didn't help me a little. some associate are even impolite and rude, they ended my chat page straightly even when i was typing. If you want to buy this camera, you should think carefully, because you will most likely get a low quality product with poor after-sales like I did. and you will also waste a whole film cartridge. If you don't believe me, come on and just buy it, and you'll experience everything I've experienced.

I previously owned an Instax SQ6, but now I feel like I need a larger Polaroid camera, so I've been eyeing the Wide400. It's a bit heavy with the batteries installed, and it's quite bulky, making it suitable for partying, though I wouldn't take it hiking. The automatic exposure takes some getting used to, and varying ambient light levels can significantly affect exposure. Remember, in bright sunlight, never use the flash on your subject! Also, be mindful of the visual difference when shooting close up. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it, though it takes some getting used to and learning how to use the flash. It's a great way to capture happy moments. The photos come out instantly, and the feeling of holding them in my hand is amazing. I've shared it with my friends, and they're all delighted.

It's quite big so I'm still learning how to hold it! I'm still in the process of figuring out how to use it, I've already lost some pics trying to take group selfies, but the camera is good and when I get the lens position right the quality is clear and perfect, I loved it!

I bought if for my girlfriend she use all the time when we of to somewhere. Is deffo the best buy ever for us. Quality product, nice clour, memory maker ect

La cámara no es pequeña, las fotos tampoco. Sencilla de manejar y para mi gusto... La cámara instantanea perfecta puesto que no hay problemas de enfoque. La recomiendo 100%

Esta cámara es DIVINA. Súper práctica y fácil de usar, además las fotos salen muy vívidas y hermosas. Solo desearía que el flash fuera mejor pero en general, es perfecta
