Device is intended for ph5-9, but working well (so far...) with ph11
Installed 4 months ago and working fine. Our setup has it operating up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. At time of purchase the Amazon listing did not mention that the injector's instructions specify the ph should be between 5 and 9. The solution I need to inject is ph11 so it was annoying to find out only after it arrived that this was outside its specs. I decided to try it anyway; the price of the device is low enough that it was an affordable experiment. So far it has been doing well. If this continues it will be excellent value for money.

Accurate mix rate, no problems.
Seems pretty accurate mix rate. I tested (by weight) at 4% and 2%. Came out as 3.8% and 1.7%. Looks like I set the gauge a little low (it's not a very precise marking system). I have not used it with fertilizer yet. no leaks so far (I've only put about 20 gallons through it). I just followed the priming instructions. I built a system with mostly brass parts along the bypass, then some schedule 80 and brass for the mix loop. I also included a drain valve. It's mounted on an aluminum 1.5" angle (painted green) on two U posts. Nice and sturdy, but still moveable with a little effort. I used an RV water pressure valve at the inlet so I can control the system pressure and included a meter at the outlet so I know the pressure going into the drip system.

Great unit for the money
I did have some issues with the rubber gasket, but after consulting Newtry customer service, I fixed it easily. I paid relatively little (less than a third?) for this unit compared to the popular brands and it has performed flawlessly this summer.

Leaking Unit, no Customer Support from Seller
Was disappointed to find that I received a leaking product. It was very easy to identify the source of the leak -- just look for where the water is spraying! -- but difficult to address. For my unit, the leak was at the housing seal -- a 5-6" rubber o-ring. The unit was manufactured poorly and the seal was pinched and damaged beyond use when they put it together at the factory. The product includes a bag of replacement seals, but this is not one that is included. No worries, I thought, they gave me a customer service email address! The email address provided doesnt exist and the email was promptly kicked back. Surely I just mistyped the address -- unfortunately no. I searched around online and found another email address to contact Newtry to see if I could get a replacement seal. That email has been left unanswered for about a week -- they claim in their packaging that they will respond within 24 hours. With the leaking housing the unit is unusable. Luckily I purchased through Amazon and knew I could rely on Amazon's stellar customer service to replace the pump. It's silly to replace the whole unit when a single o-ring would have sufficed. If you are mounting your injector permanently (or semi-permanently in my case), be cautious. Consider leaving enough room around the unit to take it apart and use swiveling pipe thread connections so it can be easily removed.

Nice upgrade from the original product.
This is the newer upgraded product. No doubt the upgrades are real. Nice to see a company improve something when improvement is certainly possible with things such as this. Nice 👍🏻

Works well so far
Works as well as a dosatron equivalent which it replaced. 4 plus months and still working.

Avoid at all costs
I built a copper pipe bypass system to install this - so spend $$$, on the main water line for our backyard. Shoddy construction, stops working after 5 mins, inconsistent, and started leaking after the first hour of use. Its probably ok to connect to a garden hose, but if thats all you need to do, there are better simpler solutions out there. And they dont include a spare rubber seal for the main enclosure -- ours broke while tightening the top hub, and now there is nowhere to buy that part ! Nor it its size published for me to look for one independently. How does one have so many issues with a product within the first hour of use ! And the central rod is made of cheap plastic, just snapped ! Their customer service is quite poor - 3 weeks to send a rubber seal, bs back and forth that "it has been shipped" to "we havent shipped it yet". Still nowhere to be found - all you get is copy and paste emails with soothing language. Dont waste your money. Its a waste
