I upgraded my old basket type air fryer to this one. I have to say I am very impressed. Cooked well, with an even shorter cook time, was actually very easy to clean, and low noise. I liked having the window and the light to watch the process, old air fryer did not have that. It has taken some time to get to know it and read about it, but it was well worth it! It is big, so make sure you have ample counter space and give it breathing room. Letting cooked food sit on the mesh trays may make it harder to clean, but letting it soak should ease that. It does come with a cookbook which has some wonderful recipes for beginners. All in all, this one was worth the money!

I got this air fryer to replace another one that died after several years of use. I tried a couple of different ones, but they were a step backward from what my original offered & didn't cook as well. When I got my Nuwave, though, it was instant love. It is easy to use, with intuitive controls and roomy cooking racks. You can see the food cooking to perfection - I have never had breaded fish look so appetizing while it was cooking! I got the extra grill pan, and we were amazed at how good beer brats looked and tasted after cooking. I tried the probe with pork tenderloin and was impressed by how you can see the internal temperature of the meat as it's cooking. In my house, we love crispy potato rounds; the results in the Nuwave are the best ever. So far, I'm impressed with the performance especially since it hasn't set off my smoke detectors! It's also easy to clean, so it's an all-around winner!

Everyone I know who has an Air Fryer raves about it. Everything you've read about this particular 1 is true. The door & trays are fragile, but if you know this in advance, simply brace your thumb to open the door-do not yank on it & don't slam it to close it. You MUST use a potholder to remove food, never rest anything on the tray once you've pulled it out b/c it WILL fall on the floor. I imagined a toaster oven w/the speed of a microwave. NOT. Basically, it's a large toaster oven w/air heat, the unit (except for the top) gets as hot as an oven. Also, there is no time saved; Frozen french fries still take about 7 minutes whether you fry or air-fry them. The cooking time equals that of an oven. The surprise for me is that the hot air that swirls around inside, forcefully shoots out the back of the unit, which therefore cannot be close to a wall, or I imagine it will eventually warp the paint on your wall - or potentially be a fire hazard. This one is TALLER not WIDER. I situated mine on a slant and since I happened to have a rotating tower fan within 5 ft, I turn it on to deflect that hot air around & away from the wall. It produces less heat than an oven in the same timeframe, and unlike an oven, there is no long period of a heated-up room, once the unit is off. It cools off pretty fast. If you have an electric stove, it's all on the electric bill. But if you have a gas stove and cook in the electric air fryer instead, it's now ALL on your electric bill. So with a gas stove, the benefits of an air-fryer is ONLY to cook without oil, warm-up something that was (or would've been) fried or, something previously baked which you want crispy instead of saucy, i.e., turkey wings-that's if you don't want to transfer the expense from your gas bill to your electric bill. Warming up food otherwise is faster in the microwave. PRACTICE ON FRENCH FRIES. I tossed my deep fryer. Overall, it's worth it's counter space, although I see now that the newer stoves include air-frying capability. Probably worth the extra cost.

This browns better than our last one even on same temperature setting. I love the capacity and the high heat settings, the racks are easy to clean, and the bottom pan is sturdy and can be soaked. Also love that I can pause cooking without opening the door. It takes a little more time to heat up than our last one but makes sense cuz larger. I think this is about optimal as far as how much food I can fit in it compared to how much space it takes up. I love to nitpick, but this thing is great so far. The temp probe malfunctioned but that may've been user error.

This product is defective. It was purchased as a gift for my mother Xmas 2024. The first unit had issues out of the box, but started working. It began having issues maintaining temperature and heating up to 425 degrees. Occasionally the unit would not turn on until being unplugged. Contacted Nuwave who were nice and sent out another unit. I believe they resent a refurbished unit because it did not work out of the box and had a weird smell the first unit didn't have. Nuwave offered to send a new air fryer, but after the hassle my mother didn't want it anymore. Amazon refused to refund me for after sending two defective air fryers. Abysmal customer service from Amazon.

This air fryer works very well. The instructions are a bit confusing for using the presets so I just go ahead and use my own times and temps and have not been disappointed. The basket is very roomy and easy to clean.
