The bow was sold by Johnson String Instrument and was shipped with hair rosined.The hair didn’t bite as much, so I had to rehair it.However, the quality of bow is unquestionable, beautiful sound!

Excellent workmanship and value
Excellent quality and fantastic service! I bought this bow as a gift for my college aged son. He is a serious cellist and loved it. The carbon fiber makes it travel friendly, the sound is rich, and the workmanship is outstanding. AND the seller Hoffman Strings delivered it super quick! Awesome seller and product.

JonPaul Avanti Cello Bow
Excelent bow. 80 grams. Perfect weight. Very well balanced. The quality of the bow is very consistent and the finish it's outstanding. It's really a bargain for the price. I absolutely recommend this bow as a primary bow for the serious student and young professional. It's also an interesting bow for the experienced player as spare bow, for it's appealling sound.

Responsive, lightweight bow
The bow is light-weight and as responsive as wooden bows in the same price range. Since carbon fiber is less sensitive than wood to changes in humidity, it is also a good bow for traveling.
