Great Customer Service and Good product!
The first shipment of the product I got was inactive; however, I called the phone number provided, and I was answered by a very helpful gentleman who helped me figure out the issue and replaced my grains free of charge. Also, this product is much cheaper than other options offered on Amazon, and the customer service was great.

Small amount and subpar results
I was disappointed to find that the actual quantity received was significantly less than what was advertised at the time of purchase. Furthermore, the fermentation process for the milk and coconut was time-consuming and yielded subpar results. Based on these experiences, I would conclude that the quality of these grains is inferior.

So far so good!
I am new to Kefir, only tasting it for the first time two weeks ago. But I knew I needed it for gut health and wanted to make my own. The grains arrived looking healthy, and I submerged them in a canning jar of milk and put them in the cupboard as soon as they arrived. I checked after 24 hours and the milk did not seem thick, I left them another day and it still looked thin. Then I forgot about them until the third day and quickly strained out the resulting Kefir, thick and tart. The instructions say to discard the first batch or two, but I may try it after refrigeration. I started batch #2 and can’t wait to see the results! I add Kefir to my daily whey protein shake, just enough to bring it to the edge of tartness. Yum!

This was my first attempt at making kefir at home. I purchased some kefir grains, which arrived in a small container covered in a slime-like substance. It took two days for the kefir to arrive. I did not follow the instructions that came with the product. Instead, I followed my mom's advice. Once I received the product, I placed the grains in a cup of whole milk. After 24 hours, I changed the milk and discarded the initial batch, which had a fermented smell but wasn't thick.I added fresh milk and let it ferment for another 24 hours, but it still didn't thicken or taste good. I changed the milk again, and after checking it 10 hours later, I finally had thick kefir milk. Since the third day, I've been adding more milk, and now the grains produce about three cups of kefir milk every 24 hours. I stir the milk occasionally, about ten hours after changing it, and the process works very well. Also, it has been 9 days since I received these grains. I'm now making delicious kefir smoothies and even using kefir milk to make Greek yogurt. I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone who wants to try it.

I love these grains and their customer service is amazing! I had a few questions while getting them started so I contacted texted their customer service I received detailed instructions along with a call to make sure all my questions were answered.I’m on batch #4 and counting!

Never received a kefir order before that did not produce
For a week I have been trying to get this kefir to produce, all I get is sour milk no kefir. I have been making Kiefer for years and I quit for a while and ordered this and it seems to be dead.

Fantastic grains
Very good grains that make amazing kefir! Give them some time to adjust, I think mine started to taste great after 4-5 fermentations. I also learned that in our room temperature (68-70°F), 24 hours is enough. I was trying to keep it for 48 hours and couldn’t figure our why the kefir tasted bad. So try it out!Make sure not to use ultra-pasteurized milk. I buy Alexandre now in plastic jars that is vat-pasteurized and it is fantastic! Get a wide-mouth Mason jar and a kefir lid with holes and your kefir making process will be easy-peasy!
