Junk
Took a shot for only $5 and have to agree with just about everyone else - it's garbage. Had to sideload the app since it's not available on Google Play. Set up was fairly easy and it did vibrate for notifications. Took off watch after 1st wearing & the back came off. Used glue specifically made for replacing backs and screens for cell phones and wore it the next day and it worked fine. Got home, took off watch & the back fell off again lol. STAY AWAY!

The company is gone. This hardware is essentially unusable.
The company is gone. The required apps are gone. The products are so old the battery life is at best a few hours. It technically can work for short periods of time if you can track down the apps, but there are many compatibility issues with major OSes. I had fun with trying to decipher the bluetooth protocol on mine, but if you aren't into "hacking" then don't buy this. Ashame, too. Had so much potential. Remove this from the inventory.

Good idea, but bad execusion...
Good idea, but bad execusion. The application is not in GooglePlay and there are no clear instructions on where to find it. The software is found in many places of little confidence and have not updates. The battery does not reach for two days, it only reaches one day. The worst is that before a week, the product fails and breaks. It still works, but with personal repairs. Despite that, while if you spend time, the way you notify messages and emails is useful. It is a product that could be very good for its functionality, but it is very badly made.

Don’t bother. Just glue a half dollar to your watch and you will get the same results.
Looks great! Attached easily. Seems great. But doesn’t actually work! The app crashes every time I use it. I went to the companies web site and clicked support. It goes to a dead page. There is no other contact information. I went to the App Store and clicked contact developer. This also goes to a dead link. They take your $100 and then vanish without a trace. It would be more cost effective to take a half dollar and glue it to the bottom of your watch. You won’t have to recharge it and you will get the same result. Update: after just a few days of wearing it, the back split in half.

Meh. Got a lot of potential, and a lot of work to do to get there.
The notion of turning your favorite watch into a pseudo-smartwatch is brilliant. However, the first incarnation of any breakthrough product is typically flawed, as Chronos once again proves. pros: attaches to the back of any watch not too thick counts your steps and reports your progress to an app the 'tap to silence' function works pretty darn well 'find phone' is great for those of you who misplace your phone (only within bluetooth range) cons: battery rarely lasts longer than a day android app is a complete failing disaster (as of this writing) can't scroll backwards to view your daily progress or history sometimes disattaches from watch in charging base When the app is solid and the firmware is figured out, this just might be the solution to those of us who don't want to wear wonky smartwatches.

Worth the price
App must be downloaded from third party

Definitely will not work with Android.
So disappointed, notifications and alerts are no longer supported. Looks like it would work as a step counter. Great value if it worked.

Old tech still good for 2023
Yes face plate fell off and that is why it's not 5 stars but bit of glue and Its fine and still charges and holds charge for over 24 hours which is better than most smart watches. I needed the upgrade to a sentimental watch. Actual tech and functionality is better than any alternative on the market. I have an android so the app (apk) was fine to download and works fine. For 17 dollars after tax I belive that this is definitely worth the price. Overall if you have patience I think this is definitely worth it to have a mechanical watch with modern functionality. Seller should keep the same price (15usd before tax) due to dated tech and current quality but for what it is and does definitely would recommend the buy.
