Fisual Havana 2.0 USB A to B Cable 0.3 Meter

The original generic USB cable was bridged and shielded and was of reasonable sound quality, it should have stopped the earthy crackling and while it didn't distract from the sound too much, I was getting crackling intermittent sound from one of the speakers on quiet backgrounds and became prevalent when I switched the PC off (the sound was coming through the DAC, connected to the PC via the USB).Replacing the old cable with the Fisual Havana did get rid of the annoying crackling sound and also there were some small but noticeable improvements to the audio quality, which was already excellent. As per the photos the hardware was made up of; FX Audio (Sold on Amazon!) aligned to Presonas active studio speakers with braided OFC cables.The Fisual Havana, funny the name, it does give the appearance of tobacco leaves, hence the name I suppose.My overall impressions, it's sturdy and well made, not as flexible as the generic cables but that is due to the quality and worthy of my 5 stars rating.Most important the background crackling has disappeared and that's fabulous. The sound quality has etched a notch up from the generic cables, the sound was bright and energetic previously and the dynamics and characteristics are still there but the brightness has softened and there's more ambience and space, better tonal quality all round. Sound quality is subjective I know and it isn't analogue wave lengths passing through the USB cable - just digital hash (10101010s), I really can't explain it, there is a noticeable improvement or maybe the digits really do have a soul!

This cable has got some good reviews so I bought it and it is very good value.

Works, and my system sounds great with it. I haven't done any comparisons with cheaper cables, though wouldn't expect there to be much difference in it. I am pleased with the purchase, and am satisfied that I didn't spend more.

This is a very thick and sturdy cable.I'm currently using it on a Schiit jotunheim DAC/AMP and its doing a great job.As you know the sound of the DAC/AMP has nothing to do with the USB cable because thats just sending zero's and ones across it, but it very nicely built cable so a thumbs up form me.

I have always gone along with the idea that cable quality doesn't affect digital sound quality - the bits arrive at the destination unchanged. Recently, though, I had read credible reports that this isn't necessarily the case, the theory being that audio transmission is time-sensitive and a poor cable could delay the arrival of all the data at the right time. When I needed a new (longer) USB cable for my PC-DAC connection I decided to give an audio quality cable a try. I have found that Fisual make decent interconnects at a reasonable price, so the cost penalty of my experiment wasn't high.I was surprised to hear a small but noticeable improvement, even with my aging ears. Switching back and forth between the cables demonstrated the clearer sound (although not a blind test). I'm certainly glad I decided to try it out, and I can recommend this cable.

Its alright. Can't say I've noticed an improvement in sound quality but it is a good quality cable that should last a good long while

Totally eliminated interference from GPU that was leaking into my old USB cable and then into my audio setup when the GPU was running intensely.Fantastic quality. If you need protection from rogue signal noise, this is your guy.
