Hilton Cruiser Bowling Shirt (HP2243)

These shirts are HUGE. It's only a small exaggeration to say that you could use one of there as sleeping arrangements on your next camping trip. I Ordered the XL (I'm 6'2", 215, and some of my XLs fit a little small) it was very baggy. The amazon size chart put an XL at a 44-46 chest. This XL is a 54-56 chest.

Unfortunately, I had to return this shirt because it was WAY too big. I used the sizing chart and ordered a shirt size consistent with all my other shirts, but the large fit more like an extra large. That said, the shirt appeared to be good quality and looked really cool, so hopefully they'll get mediums in soon so I can order another one someday. The return is in process, but one important thing to note is they will charge you for the return shipping (deducted from your refund when you return it) which is a bit discouraging since I ordered the shirt in good faith based on the sizing chart included. So overall, I gave it an average 3 stars with 5 stars for the shirt, but 1 star for sizing/return policy.

I bought this for a 1950's swing dance party to wear along with one of those piano keyboard neck ties. I looked like a throwback from "Happy Days". I ordered a men's L but it fits like an XL. I didn't mind though because swing dance requires freedom of movement. I machine washed it cold with mixed colors and hung it up hot from the dryer. The color didn't fade or run and there's no shrinkage. It didn't even need ironing. That's handy. Where I work we have "casual Fridays", so I'll get plenty of use out of it. Good product. Highly recommend.

The synthetic material is why I bought the shirt, it doesn't stain from sweat and is more durable than cotton shirts. My personal preference is for a wider collar/lapel, but is acceptable as is. The fabric thickness is on the thin side which I prefer, as I tend to overheat while bowling, especially in the summer, when only swamp coolers are used at the bowling center. The shirt is never going to have a fitted look as it is straight cut on the sides giving ample room for a large belly. Given the price point I may consider having the shirt tailored for my frame. Got an XL and it's like a tent on me. It's very long too which might be ok if the rest of it fit - but it doesn't.The shirt feels heavy and won't work for me in Texas in the summer. This shirt is stiff as a board. Not a cool summer shirt!!As someone else mentioned, the button hole openings are horizontal, not vertical, and that does drive me crazy. Who Does That??I basically don't like it. Going Back!

My husband is 5'9 so the shirt is a little long for him, but he is just fine with that! However he is an extra large and around the stomach it fits great! He loves it, not that he bowls, but because he is a big fan of Charlie Sheen in "2.5 men" and loves to see Charlie wear his bowling type shirts. That's my hubby and that's why I love him so! Many of this style of shirt have a problem of being too short. So many shirts seems to add girth when you go up past xl without adding any length at all. That was not the case with this shirt. I was happy enough to attempt to order some other styles in the same brand and was disappointed to find that they were not consistent in the sizing when switching to a slightly different style.

I get lots of compliments on this shirt - The Blue is striking and is very beautiful and eye catching — it’s retro and not a $300 Nat Nast Silk Shirt but the cotton is nice - feels comfortable and at 6’5” 290 the XXL fits very nice - keep it ironed for a nice crisp look - goes great with black or blue distressed jeans and my cons - black tee shirt underneath gives it a little extra kick- become one of my fav shirts - off to buy more - worth every penny and prob a lot more
