Bought as an upgrade to the Rane One. This thing is a beast! The build quality is far superior to that of any of the industry standard and is packed full of features at a fraction of the price.

My unit arrived non working out of the box. Set up seemed ok at first, lights came on, but the little screen never did, and after two weekends of messing with Rane D/Ls and laptop sound settings, I could not get a sound out of it which once googled I realized the board was defective and I was not alone.. thus it went back and I fell madly in love with my Rev 7 again. (1st ever RANE product experience too)

Excellent DJ controller. It's expensive, but well built, flexible and compatible with a range of software. My only real criticism would be that the headphones output level appears to be a bit lower than other devices.

I absolutely love this RANE 4 Controller. It is so cool and it's an absolute dream to Dj with. Fellow Dj's always admire it when they see it and ask me where I got it from. I love the built in effects but it is loaded with other stuff that I haven't even had chance to explore and master everything that you can do with it. It's kind of overwhelming but in a good way. I have had other Controllers in the past but the RANE 4, kicks all the others to the side curb. So, so happy that I bought this. Am a happy Dj

Makes up for all the vinyls, and gear I lost in the house fire almost a year ago. Unfortunately nothing is ever gonna replace that gear and extensive vinyl collection so I'm forced to go digital. Being honest it's a huge mark on my soul, since I've been doing this nearly all my life, but this thing is so much fun to use and mess around with. I've never used Serato before this point, and have to say since I've learned it I actually prefer it over VirtualDJ. It's so easy to load tracks, it accepts damn near any format, and sounds great regardless of format. The weight isn't too bad, but I'm a bulky person myself so heavy lifting is nothing to me (imagine the crates of vinyl I used to carry around, way more convenient and easier on my back.) The effects are great, they remind me a bit of my Korg Live Zero 8 which as buggy as it was - I fell in love with for it's versatility and feature. This is pretty close to that, not to mention the modularity of the Rane PERFORMER allows for me to add a KAOSSCILATOR if I want, don't feel I need it honestly though. Probably the best bang for buck you can get, unless if you're going for one of those crazy $10k controllers, which I don't see the need for. Everything feels so quality, easily adjustable, going to be honest it also looks somewhat easily repairable which is a huge bonus to someone like me who likes to keep their gear until it becomes dust. Everything just works great, was very easy to setup, and DJ'ing with this thing feels a lot more stress free than it used to. No strange bugs, hitching, or personality quirks. RP4 is just ready to go just like that, it wakes up and beat juggles for breakfast.

After ten years of playing with SL1200, this is the best! replacement to put together a nice set at home. Never regretted it for a second!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem RANE 4. Die neue Stem Split Funktion ist mega. Man kann live ganz einfach mashups erzeugen, wofür man vorher vllt 4 mixer gebraucht hätte. Am liebsten spiele ich mit den diversen Effekten die in der Hardware verbaut sind. Meine Lautsprecher und das mikro konnte ich ohne Probleme anschließen. Einzig das sprachen fällt mir noch schwer, aber das ist Übungssache So viele Möglichkeiten!!!!!
