Just What You May Need at a Great Price
Clever Device. Was very impressed with the price, too. Easy to connect. Hooked up in seconds. Works great.

Does the job!
This did exactly what I needed it to do which was transfer some old photos I had stored on floppy disks. It acts kinda quirky sometimes, but the speed and usefulness make up for that. It is very compact in size and simple to operate. Just plug it in and go.

Works once.
This is the second USB 3.5 floppy in a row that I've purchased that has had this same issue. When you plug it in for the first time, it reads the first disk's contents correctly, and you can move and copy those contents. Then, when you eject the first disk and plug in another, it does not update the contents list, continuing to show you the contents of the first disk. I then rebooted my computer and tried again, at which point the computer told me the drive was inaccessible.

I finally know what's on those 40 Floppy Disks
This took some work to get functional and more than one restart, but eventually it worked (This is the second one I bought, but the first of this brand). This one came with instructions which made a huge difference and although I have Windows 10 and they were for 11, I was still able to make it work.Three stars because it was supposed to be plug and play but was definitely not.Now what do I do with this, I'll never use it again lol

Unplug every time?
Recently came across a couple of those 50 (+/-) 3.5" floppy holders and figured there was a small chance there were files I'd want to preserve. Device functioned well, instructions were clear; if you know file explorer you shouldn't have any issues finding the drive and moving files/folders around. Was about as fast as I remember a 3.5" drive to be and I was able to find some docs and photo files that made the purchase worthwhile. The only real down check is having to unplug the drive every time a new disc was loaded. That got real old as the task went on.

Works good
The drive did work. I can't complain, it reads them fine, and i should be able to use my floppies for more stuff.
