Review: Vast improvement - The strings are wonderful and have improved my cello sound no end. Review: Pleasure to Play - Tuned to G then gradually to A as others have mentioned snapping. Settled in very quickly and produced a rounded sound with good projection. Very easy to play, speaks quickly. I was impressed by the difference to my previous A string so ordered the D. I'll probably stick with my existing G and C Pirastro Chromcor strings. I play on an English luthier made cello.
