This is something I would have created if I had talent. In my head I imagined something like this to keep my pump in my fountain clean and free running. I had no practical way to build something like this but luckily I did not have to. There was one available and at a reasonable price. It’s been in the fountain about a month now and so far meets and exceeds all expectations. I’ve got about 6 months to go before cold weather means breaking down and emptying the fountain so we’ll see how well this device fares over the summer. So far so good.

Save me $ hundreds of dollars in buying new pumpsUse this from my indoor garden reservoir after a six month run. My pump still looks brand new. Thanks this old device guy for the money save me $100 in repairs. The size is perfect fit right in my reservoir. Extremely durable took 30 seconds for installation very functional!! Amazing value for the money

I have a fountain in my backyard. It has three troughs and collects a lot of debris which of course, clogs my pump. I can get the big stuff out, but the little bits of material are impossible to scoop out. I'll clean the bottom trough, and with in a few minutes, all the little stuff I missed stops up my pump again.I ordered this, and since the day I got it, I haven't had to unclog my pump once. The one thing that was weird, and it doesn't show anything on the photo, there is not additional port of the electrical wire. I had to put it through the same opening the water tube goes. It makes the pump sit at an odd angle. That's it.

Awesome little thing. I have a small fountain area in my yard, and despite deep cleaning it, my small fountain pump kept getting clogged with small leaves and pine needles. I quickly put this together and it’s seemed to have fixed the issue- no more blockages. I put two rocks on each side of it to secure it in place.

So I wasn’t sure I needed this product but after needing to go out and brush off the “gunk” from the inlet of my pump three times a day I realized that wasn’t sustainable. I put this over my pump and I haven’t had to touch it for over three weeks. I don’t know how long this will go before I have to do some maintenance to the screen but I am very impressed.

Finally solved our clogged filter problem in my butterfly garden pond. Has stayed clear for over a week now.

Draws the debris to the net but once you cut it off to take out all the junk comes off as you take it out.What’s the point?

Works great. I'm dealing with silt, sand, and constant debris. I needed a very small box and most are 12-17 inches.
