Worked great for nose piercings

Used this for my navel so far. It hurt but not too bad. I'm more nervous about my nose. Will update the stars & review if needed once I do. Wish it came with a marker.

belly button gun malfunctioned and the hardware did not fit the needle, very tramatizing, would not reccomend this kit at all

I used all 3 types. The main point for doing your own piercings is getting over the fear of pain. The ear piercer worked great. I wanted a second set of ear piercings. The process was completely painless. The ear piercer is spring loaded so it will do most of the work for you. The other piercers for the nose and belly are not spring loaded so it will require a little more effort. Next, I used the nose piercing kit. The piercer fell apart before it pierced all the way through the cartilage. It was probably user error, I released too soon. I had to do a second time and it went fine. It was completely painless too. I was surprised it didn’t hurt. My nose was a little ‘achy’ since I had to do it twice and I had to push hard to get it through the cartilage. Lastly, I used the belly pierced. This was the hardest for a few reasons: strange angle and I have long nails. I actually tried 3 times. The first time was too shallow, the second time I could not get the top to screw on and the third I couldn’t get the jewel to go through the piercing. The needle at the end should be threaded or wider than the jewel so it could go through the whole easier. I know some of the other belly piercing kits on Amazon are like that. Needless to say, the diy belly pierce was a fail. I got it professionally pierced a week later after letting it heal. I would recommend having a belly piercing done professionally for a few reasons. Apparently, not all belly buttons are created equally. A lot of belly buttons actually don’t stay open (i.e. the top collapses down) when you sit down like mine and will push out the jewel. This causes issues during healing. I had to get a floating belly button piercing i.e. the jewel has a flat bottom instead of a gem. Hopefully, when my piercing is fully healed (in 6-12 months - the belly button takes the longest to heal), I can wear a jewel with a gem.

Bellybutton piercing was so easy to do. I feel like it didn’t really hurt- the needle is scary looking though lol. The nose piercing wasn’t sharp enough to go through all the way through. It went halfway through and then I had a switch to a ear piercing needle for it to go through. If I can do it all over again, I would do the belly piercing as is and do the ear ring piercing for my nose. I wouldn’t buy the nose piercing machine again.
