Easy yet challenging
I bought this for my son entering 3rd grade to work on reading skills this summer. They are short enough passages that he does fight me on them but incorporate a few words that he has to work on and sound out. The questions at the end he completes solo and then talks about the passage. My only wish: the numbers were on the rows like the ones from school. Overall, he's willingly reading them and that's all that matters currently.
