Great quality for the price

Very lovely watch. Looks very premium for its price point. However, the crown felt very rough when winding. It’s like there is less to no oil in the watch which it made it feel rough and I hope it isn’t a sign of damage in the watch. But in all honesty it’s a very a beautiful watch for its price. Tempted to buy another bambino.

Value for Money and Japanese Watches go hand in hand, but this one takes it a notch further. Beautiful design, comfortable wearability, JLC/Patek Philippe vibes. Luxury doesn't have to be expensive every time.

Stunning, and seems well made. So worth the $$. I was tired of putting two high end (battery powered) watches into repair and paying 500 dollars every 5 years. (Both were gifts and though beautiful, not practical.). Decided to sell them and get myself a reasonably priced well made automatic that might need fewer or less costly repairs. This is SO pretty. That said, if you have a smaller wrist, make sure you consider size. The 38.4 mm looks massive on my wrist. I am keeping it because I love the dial and don't love the smaller faces by Orient nearly as much. If you wear the same watch almost every day, an automatic is so easy.

This is my first Orient watches, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have a very modest watch collection with my best being some Omegas. I certainly wasn't expecting Omega quality from Orient. First impression: This is a BEAUTIFUL watch. It feels good and solid, with a great finish on all parts, and an excellent dial and crystal. It could easily be confused with much more expensive watches. The watch has some actual wight to it, which is very nice. The movement, which can be seen through the back, is not as well finished as higher end watches, but looks well built and sounds good, but not great. It sounds like a workhorse watch, which is perfect at this price. The faux leather band looks good, but feels a bit stiff and rugged, and looks a tiny bit as though it was made under a budget. That being said, I am sure it will wear well. The only true "fault" I found was when I wound it manually. The winding mechanism feels stiff and not as smooth as many of my other watches, including some at this price. Since you will rarely wind it (automatic), most people won't notice or care. One point I particularly liked was the box it came in. It made no pretenses about being a high end, luxury box. It was reminiscent of a mid-century box a watch like this would have come in back in the day. I like that they saved the money, but still did a decent presentation. All things being said, based on this unboxing, I would highly recommend this watch. Other reviews indicate these watches do well over time, so I expect no surprises. Best wishes and happy collecting!!
