There is nothing that comes with the product that says you have to discard the conical insert in your OEM springs to get this to fit on your vehicle.Other than that, they did the job andy 4runner no longer has the reverse stink bug look.

Good fit
Easy to install when I was replacing front struts and rear shocks (from FCS). Just watch your brake lines and WSS when pushing the axle down with the bottle jack. I used big pair of channel locks the squeeze the springs just a bit more instead of pulling more stuff apart

VERY easy install
I installed these spacers in a 1999 T4R Limited 4x4 which came with the factory installed "99 Tall" springs. Although the springs weren't sagging unloaded, as soon as I put some weight in back, it would drop an inch or two. My first thought was to replace them with some OME springs but I was hesitant to do so because I didn't want to waste money if I decided to go a different route in the near future. Air helper springs also crossed my mind but I was worried about potential issues when the rear was fully flexed.Ultimately spacers we the cheapest option, and these in particular seemed like a good deal considering they are made here in Phoenix, Az, have a lifetime warranty and are made from a softer material than metal. They are also the only ones I found that were 1.5" instead of 2" or 3".So what comes in the box? 2 spacers, simple instructions and sticker with a warning about the vehicle being lifted making it more prone to rollover and such. After removing the wheels and putting the vehicle on jack stands, I only needed 12,14 & 17mm wrenches and the factory bottle jack. I live in Az and my T4R is an Az vehicle, so I have no rust issues to deal with, so penetrating fluid, breaker bar, etc. were not needed in my case.I started by lifting the axle as high as it would go from the center without lifting the vehicle off the jack stands. I then removed the lower shock mounts and moved the shock off the mount, unbolted the end links from the frame and then unbolted the panhard bar from the driver side. I then lowered the axle and jacked it up from the opposite side that I wanted to remove the spring from so that I could easily remove it.The spacer is placed on top of the spring (the orientation is obvious), then the bump is placed on top of it helping keep the spacer in place. I used the factory bottle jack and placed between the axle tube and bump stop. Then it was just a matter of raising it to give enough space for the spring and spacer to slide in. Do the same on the opposite side then move the jack back to the center of the axle housing. Raise it back up so that the hole for the bolt on the panhard bar lines up with the mount and put the bolt back in. Put the shocks back on the lower mounts and bolt them in. Re-attach the end links but don't tighten them all the was until the vehicle is back on the ground. And bam, you're done.

They helped my stance a lot
Im soo glad i got these blocks because the moog coils that were supposed to give same heigh as fronts was not accurate. If it was not for these block my 4runner would still looked like it was sagging

Straight forward install
2000 4Runner SR5 4wdReplaced front strut assemblies & rear shock absorbers. Truck was then sitting 1-5/8" higher in the front than rear.-Chocked front wheels. Jacked the vehicle up by the rear end about 18" off the ground. Jackstands under the rear frame. Removed bottom mount bolts from rear shocks. Pry them out of the way. Removed top fasteners from sway bar end links and flipped those down. Wheels and tires left on. Slowly lowered rear end. 2nd person pushing down on wheels, the springs came right out as is with a 24" prybar. Didn't use a spring compressor but definitely would make install easy. Placed spacer on top of spring then bump stop on top and thru spacer & spring. Pry, wiggle and popped the spring into place after about 15 to 20 mins of configuration of pry points per side. Reverse install disconnected rear suspension components. Lowered vehicle & measurements are now just about even in ride height. No noticeable stiffness to rear ride 50miles post break in. Totally satisfied!First 2 pics are beforehand. Last 2 afterwards.

Usability
Bought this to fix the sag of my 99 4runner. Paid with new moog tall springs. And 5th gen 4runner rear shocks( modified bishings to fit) Hassle to get in (haha). Recommend using bottle jack method , spring compressor ( rent or buy for 40 bucks) Remove all brake line brackets and a pry bar, with all this gave me almost 4 inches. Will settle a little but rides much smoother.

1998 4Runner Perfect Fit
Instead of spending $200 on new springs, I spent $40 on spacers! The install was easier than I thought. Pay attention to the suggestions in other reviews. It took me less than two hours. I used a human body standing on the tire to spread the axle from the frame once I had the body on jackstands and the shocks and panhard bar disconnected. Faster than putting the OEM bottle jack in there.I did have to rent a strut spring compressor for free from Auto Zone to help squeeze things in there.

It's a good product, but I purchased here because it was faster and cheaper than 4WP in Ontario

Received package almost 2 weeks ahead of delivery date when ordering. Was exactly what was described. Very happy with product and shipping time. Very inexpensive and great quality. Installed in about an hour, but I work for the dealer so that helps. But is very easy to install and instructions are very straight forward.
