Great LED Option
We previously used the halogen bulbs for the pendant lights over our kitchen island. I purchased some replacement halogen bulbs and they burned super hot to the point of having a burning smell 5 minutes after turning them on. I immediately took them out and returned them. My husband originally found these Ecosmart LED bulbs at a local box store and what a difference! The light is bright and they run very cool compared to the halogen bulbs. I can put my hand right around the metal light fixture and it’s barely even warm to the touch. I also see brighter output with these bulbs as the light is directed down, where it should be. Wattage usage is lower also as these are LED. Super happy with these - so much so that I purchased a 3 pack from Amazon to keep as backups.

Lowers fixture heat
Lasts from 2 - 3 years. Lights are on 8+ hours a day.

Poor quality
Less than half year, one of the bulbs failed to work, others became dimmer and sometimes blinking, not sure how long they can last. And the color are not even close to white, don't mention bright white. So disappointed.

These blubs work very well and hopefully will last a long time.

Quality issues
These bulbs are what you would expect. Build quality and fitment are perfect.My only issue is that they only last a few months. Weeks in some instances.They start blinking non stop until they eventually die.I would not buy again.

Excellent replacement for halogen...so far
This bulb perfectly replicates the lighting provided by the halogen bulb it replaces, and at lower energy usage. Presumably it will have much longer useful life as well, although I have been disappointed by some LED replacements for halogen bulbs sold by other manufacturers. We shall see....

Exactly right. I don't knoiw how long it will last. I have 4. One went out after over 10 years.
