This Coconut Opener tool set is wonderful. You do have to peel the coconut first, I didn't have the right knife for that, so it'll be much easier the next time around. We have a lot of coconut trees on our property so my sons are always trying different ways to open a coconut, so getting a proper set has made that task a lot easier. This set comes with several glass straws and a tool to poke a hole in the coconut that you can drink through the straw straight out of the coconut which is fun. I can see lots of fun pool parties next summer using this set and serving up fresh coconut water.

Miami gal here. These work on brown coconuts after you remove the husk and hammer away the shell on top. Perfect

It arrived broken. Why not change it to stainless steel straw instead of glass straw? Overall it works for its intended use.

I really enjoy using this kit. I mainly use it to get the juices from the coconut. I really don’t like eating coconut. The kit is very sturdy for what I use it for.

The coconut tool set is awesome. I saw raw vegan youtuber Gillian Berry do a video on her what I eat in a day and she had she used a set just like this one but this one comes with a few extra tools and looks like a better value. I love it, I got one Thai coconut from Walmart to try it out and the fresh coconut water makes you feel amazing and I was able to open the coconut easily with just a few whacks. I have now ordered more young Thai coconuts and this tool set will be used a lot in my household. I would recommend highly as it makes it easy to open and grate the coconut meat out. Thank you!

This does work very well - but it is best with the younger white looking coconuts. With the brown hairy coconuts, you have peel away the area before using. But this does work!
