Does this alarm have UL certification? Can it pass a pool inspection?

No. While many families use this alarm for pool doors, it does not meet the UL 2017 standard and won’t pass a pool inspection.

The Door Alarm is powered by 2 AAA (No. 7) batteries, please note that the package does not include batteries.

Can it be installed outdoors?

The waterproof capability is weak. It is recommended for indoor use and not for outdoor use.

How loud is alarm sound? the volume be adjusted?

The door alarm has 90dB and 120dB volume options. Press the "S" button on the remote to switch, and it saves your setting for next arming. In addition, if you still feel that it is very loud, you can use your own tape to put on the horn.

Place the magnetic component on the arrow side of the main unit, keeping a distance under 0.39" (lab-tested, though slight variation may occur due to angle). They don’t have to be level—parallel, vertical, or angled is fine.
